PERSONALITY ☆

Despite the face that Chaerin has, it's not how she is, it's just how her expression is when not smiling. Chaerin is a positive, assuring kind of girl that believes in Karma and that good things will come to those who least expect it. She's also kindhearted, thinking of others before herself, majority of time, as it depends on the person. She's also intelligent, but never brags or belittle others, and just use her knowledge to help out others instead. She's easy-going and hates making a fuss and wasting time. Chaerin's a bit troublesome, too, as she likes to do other things just so that she can relieve stress and not be so uptight. Those being her good and best traits, they also have a downside to it too. Chaerin also expects too much and in the end, sometimes disappointing herself and hoping too much. She, the majority of the time, can't say no to helping others and so pile on a lot of work for herself. While being intelligent is good, she's a little too smart for her own good and others think that she looks down upon them when she tries to relay her knowledge upon them. Because she's too easy-going, this makes her too agreeable and people think she has no backbone. Also because she can be troublesome, it makes her seem mischievous at times, because she's just trying to have fun and let loose.

Chaerin is also strong-willed yet stubborn, not wanting others to see her weak side and put up a front that she's always okay and fine, when sometimes she's not and just feels like screaming to no one in particular. In no way is Chaerin a total girly girl or extreme tomboy, but in between. It's just she's able to fight and defend herself than the average girl, but doesn't have the upper body and strength that a male naturally has. Chaerin also doesn't tolerate rudeness or being looked down upon either, as she deems it's not morally good and that Karma pays it back 100 folds to those that do it. Chaerin's a klutz and is accidental prone... a surprise to a lot of people, especially her brothers. She's also very observant, but cautious as well, so she likes looking around her surrounding and others, wanting to familiarize herself with it. All in all, Chaerin is just like any other kind of person who has their ups and downs, but hers is just experience through herself and no one else, and in the end of the day, Chaerin is still Chaerin, no matter what.

BACKGROUND ☆

Kang Chaerin was a very shy and reserved child. She was fat, barely spoke, and comfort always came first. She didn’t have many friends except her cousin and never thought she would. She went to a regular school and followed everything her parents said, she liked one boy and decided to go for him one day. She told him and was harshly rejected as the boy told her she was ugly, fat and useless. She then did everything to reverse that. She got into fashion and dance was her way of loosing all that weight. She also found her dream of becoming a fashion designer and stylist. She also started to become more outgoing around when she was twelve years old. She started talking to other kids and made some amazing friends. She became one of the loudest kids in her classes and became a little rebellious towards her parents and started doing what she wanted instead of always what they wanted.

PERSONALITY ☆ When you first meet Jiyong, you might mistake him to be a quiet or shy boy. This is mainly due to the fact that he takes first impressions into serious consideration when selecting who he keeps around himself. He's very selective about making sure that there's a balance of people around him who keep their minds on the same level as his. However, once the 'first impression' period has passed he's likely to act one of two very seperate ways. If Jiyong has deemed you acceptable to be around, he will become kind and thoughtful, knowledgable and trustworthy. However, if he finds you to be unacceptable, he can become snarky, domineering and even a little rude. He won't hesitate to tell you that you're wrong, nor will he feel bad about showing you up. He's an obsessive know-it-all, and if he doesn't know something, he tends to panic.

This may seem like Jiyong is a bad person, but if you can accept his insuferable thirst for knowledge and inability to be wrong, you'll find a good friend who is actually quite outgoing, hardworking, and increasingly charming. He's always placed learning above all things, and this includes learning about his friends and what makes them tick the way they do. He tends to learn his friends inside and out, curious to know why they are the way they are, and how they've come to be that way. However, he's not rude about the way he approachs topics. He is always sure to use the proper honorifics and he doesn't go out of his way to purposefully insult people (even those he disapproves of).

However, there are a few times you don't want to interrupt Jiyong. He's very possessive about his writing journal, and unless he gives you the okay to read something, he won't hesitate to give you an earful (mostly with a few English curse words thrown in there) about how it's disrespectful to look through other's things without their consent. He has the bad habit of always having to be right and if he feels threatened, he gets snarky and boarders on rude. It's a natural defense for him, since he has always been bullied for only having a mom. He's not a victim, and he'll never allow himself to become one. Most people who cross him leave with a splitting headache from a knowledge overload and snide remarks. Jiyong does not cry, and if he does, he will often blames it on allergies or a sad movie. He refuses to acknowledge that people can bring forth emotions beyond anger, happiness, and indifference in him. He doesn't need the other emotions.

RELATIONSHIP ☆ Whilst the two were together he could convince her to do anything for him, and he knew it. In the beginning he was sweet and kind but after a while he would go out almost everynight and bring home different girls. She would break up with him and he would always come crawling back apologizing. It majorly affected her health until she desided enough was enough and left him, cutting him out of her life completely.
