STYLE: Jolie likes to be comfortable, she is very much the kind of girl who you will only ever see in jeans and a t-shirt or sweater. She dosen't own very meny girly items, and really only has 3 pairs of shoes - 2 pairs of sneakers and one pair of Doc. Martens. She does wear makeup, but it's never for nything beyond covering any blemishes (or dark circles) she may have and lining her eyes.

PERSONALITY:

Jolie is very silly. She is the kind of person who seems to just float around in her own world. Like if someone were to say something to her she is the type to respond late, say what, and then answer the question/statement before it can be repeated. Not to say she isn't a smart girl, she is, she is just lazy.She will make up excuses for things she doesn't want to do, and make up excuses why things that she does want to do should be done. "Okay, Listen. What if Korea was in danger and the only way to save it was to play this game with me?". She is a very stubborn girl, and arguing with her can be like fighting with a brick wall, she will argue her point until it no longer makes sense (really, anybody she has gotten in an argument with has given up because they no longer understand the argument).She is also extremely caring towards her friends and family because she knows she can be a handful sometimes. She will go out of her way to do nice things when the opportunity arises.

Jolie is a 20 year old woman with the habits and values of a teenage boy. Playing, Jokes, pranks, and sleep are all things that are necessary to live a full life, there is no such thing as too much food, and cleaning is something that came straight from hell. She is always up to something, or is always doing something for entertainment. She is a ham to say the least, she doesn't really care if she embarrasses herself as long as people are having fun. She is probably the one member that shows their bare face the most (she will get out of bed quickly -without doing her make-up or hair- and ham it up if she knows cameras are around).

Her determination in her music has turned her into quite the rapper and dancer, and that carries through to her stage performance. She is very charismatic in her dancing and rapping, and can get a crowd hyped. Even though she has many personal fans, she does not stop training with her rapping and dancing because she wants to become better until she is the best. When it comes to her singing though, she is alright, she isn't the best, but she is okay. She never trained her vocals because she never really wanted to, and when the company tried to get her to train her vocals (when she was a trainee and after debut) she fought it tooth and nail.

She has always been the type on girl to attract people. When she was in school in Australia, and in Korea she had plenty of "friends" (not the kind that really stick around) and while she was a trainee she had the same kind of "friends". But before her debut, and when she wasn't in school, she would be the person people would avoid on the street. Like, in the sort of places where people saw her every day (school, trainee life) and saw how silly and fun she was, wanted to be friends with her, but in places that are just public, and there is limited interaction (such as a coffee shop, grocery store or just walking down the street) people would kind of move out of the way because she has such a rebel image.
 

BACKGROUND

:Jolie was born in Busan and went to school there until she reached middle school, that's when her parents decided they wanted to move. They chose Australia because the native language was English (they believed that if Jolie grew up speaking English it would be a benefit to her in the future) and they liked the climate. While Jolie was in Australia she got really into rapping and dancing. All of her friends at the school she went to listened to American rappers, and would look up hip-hop dancing videos on YouTube. Jolie thought they were so cool, so she started to practice.

She found that she had a real talent for rapping and would walk around the house rapping, or writing down raps so she could get better. She would rap to her friends at school and they would always love it (which made her work harder). She started to dance in the same year, she went to her parents and asked for them to put her in classes, and they did. Soon enough Jolie would perform on the street at night and come home with a little pocket change. She began seeing videos of herself on the internet with loads of views and likes, so she went with it (She kept performing, she loved it, and it doesn't ever hurt to be known).

One of her friends at school suggested that she try and go back to Korea to break into the Korean music industry. At this point Jolie really had no other ideas of what she wanted to do with her life, so in her Junior year of high school she took all of the money she had saved from dancing and told her parents that she wanted to go back to Korea. They weren't too happy, as they wanted to stay in Australia, but they hesitantly supported their daughters wishes. Her parents found agreed to help her pay for the cost of living on the condition she isn't living alone.. In order to keep her safe as a high school student away from her parents in a different country, they contacted her mother's cousin. Understanding the situation, but being able to help herself, she connected Jolie's parents with her daughter (Mamamoo's MoonByul).  She was in Korea, in an apartment with a (2nd cousin once removed or something crazy like that) cousin whom she has never met. by her 16th birthday. She didn't waste any time auditioning.
