FASHION STYLE She likes to be comfortable, but her style is very very irregular. Some days she will be perfectly happy walking around in jeans and a plain t-shirt. Most days she will wear sweaters or plain t-shirts, boots, jeans and things of the sort. Occasionally she can get in a "I wanna be y" mood and will wear leggings high heels and tight-fitting clothing with plenty of accessories. Her style is really just all over the place.

APPEARANCE She has a thin white scar on the back of her right arm from jumping a fence to sneak into a party that she wasn't supposed to be at.

PERSONALITY

She is very much a wild child and maybe a bit of a troublemaker. She always wants to play, and her father supplies the money she needs to do it. She is always planning schemes and trips for her and her friends to go on, and if they don't want to she is fine going by herself. She dosent take her father's generosity for granted though, while she does spend his money excessively, she understands the hard work necessary to make the money. She does these out-of-the-box things not only because they are fun, but because they keep her creative, like her father wants. She wants to write for a living like her father does. When she has these experiences, she can write about them better and when she returns home for the night she keeps a diary, writing about that days experience.

She is also an incredibly headstrong person, she dosen't get angry easily, but she is quick to argue. Something about arguing and fighting makes her happy, she finds it fun because when people get heated they say all sorts of things that they wouldn't say normally. It's like watching a rock crack and having slush pour out of the fissures. Some people dislike her because of her eagerness to argue, but many just disregard it. Since she is so fun and welcoming to anyone willing to go on an adventure with her, she has a lot of people that "like" her, but in the kind of environment where people marry for business and not for love, you can never really know the intentions of people. Because of this she chooses her friends carefully. Now, she dosen't turn away other people, she will include them, but she has very few that she will actually talk about things to in regard to her life, or her feelings. It isn't bothersome to BiYul if people use her for what she offers (which is a good time), she worries that people will use her feelings and hurt her.

Her father disagrees with her on how she manages friends. He tells her that she should set herself up to be hurt, because emotional anguish produces fantastic writing. BiYul, like any normal person, thinks it is as ridiculous as a duck singing trot to set oneself up for hurt. So she likes to keep all of her aquaintences at a comfortable emotional distance. To those she considers friends (as well as her family) she puts herself out there fully for and to them. She will fly the distance of the world at a moments notice if they need or even want her. Her friends and family are completely indespensible and her happiness is contingent on their happiness. When a person makes their way into her "inner circle" she becomes very observant. She can read the hearts of those she holds close, even if they havent said a word. If a close friend suddenly becomes uncomfortable in a group, she will notice and leave the group with them, opting to do something they want to do.

BACKGROUND

Her father is a best-selling writer turned Publishing Company CEO. He has always had firm beliefs that his life experiences is what made him as successful as he is, and he passes that on to his children. He was wealthy even when his first child was born, so BiYul was always supported by a wealthy family. As she grew up her father always encouraged her to do what she wanted rather than what she was told "But if what you want to do is what your told, then so be it.". He put only one condition on his children, if they were going to go out and gain experience, then they had to write about it. It came to be something like a daily homework assignment, Her father gave BiYul and her brother a notebook that he told them to write in every night, and he would check to make sure if was done every morning with a consequence of being cut off financially if it isn't done.

BiYul accepted this very easily, and grew to really enjoy it, she wanted to write and be successful that way like her father, so she wanted to do what she was told. Her brother wasn't like that, he thought his fathers and younger sisters idea of experience was more like recklessness and he looked to do something different. BiYul has always been closer with her father than her brother, and her father really looks at her as his greatest creation.

BiYul's father was so completely enamored with his beautiful baby girl that on her 1st birthday when he started up his publishing company he named it with her in mind. To her father BiYul is everything he could have asked for, he believes that she has the talent in writing to be as successful if not more successful than himself. Because of this he really pushes her to write, and has been encouraging her to write a novel for him to publish (but it has to be good. He's thrown away a few drafts because he didn't like them and told her to start over.).

Their mother was in agreement with BiYul's older brother about BiYul and her father being reckless, which is why she divorced BiYul's father and took a large step away. BiYul's brother was (as he had threatened) cut off financially by their father and went to live with their mother, the relationships in the family became strained after the divorce.

BiYul and her mother aren't very close. It isn't for lack of effort though, they just believe in different things. BiYul makes a constant effort to be close with her mother (and her brother for that matter). She always makes herself present for their birthdays, and other holidays, as well as phone calls. Their relationship breaks down with anything past "How are you?", any discussions about what has happened in their lives results in disapproval and arguments.

BiYul's father kept it in his mind that his ex-wife would come back to him, and often became quite dramatic about it. BiYul maintained contact with her mother and her brother, but they never quite got along well, they thought that she was wasting her youth by playing too much and not being serious enough, so she doesn't talk to them much anymore. Her father enrolled her in Jeguk High, saying it would be a fantastic experience for her.

Entry into school was more of something that her mother wanted for her, than something she wanted for herself. When her mother first brought it up to her, she outright refused, but later conceided, thinking that maybe she would be able to repair her relationship with her mother, at least a little bit. Pulling together the energy to actually sit and try to live up to her potential, academically, wasn't something that was easy to do, but with the intent, she studied and showed herself to be quite the academic all-star - if only she cared that much all the time.

⟪ FAMILY ⟫

Father, Kwon MinWoo ⋮ 50 ⋮ Novelist/Publishing Company CEO ⋮ Creative, Outgoing, Eccentric ⋮ She loves her father greatly, and he is always supportive of her, she would do anything for him, and he would do anything for her

Mother, Baek BiSoo ⋮ 48 ⋮ Secretary to a Lawyer ⋮ Reserved, High-Strung, Compassionate ⋮ While BiYul loves her mother, she finds it hard to talk to her because she gets scolded a lot. They don't talk much because she makes BiYul feel guilty for being with her father

Brother, Kwon MinHul ⋮ 20 ⋮ Barista ⋮ Creative, Hardworking, Reserved ⋮ BiYul and her brother also don't talk very often. He scolds her a lot just like their mother, but she still tries to connect with him. He loves her as well, but he feels a kind of guilt that he can't stop her as an older brother from living so recklessly.

⟪ FRIENDS ⟫ She has loads of "friends" but they are just people that show up when she is spending money or playing. These 3 are the ones that she is most likely to be seen with.

Friend, Choi Sugmin (SPEED) ⋮ 19 ⋮ Student ⋮ Bubbly, Up-for-anything, Smart ⋮ He could be something of a best friend, he is almost always with her, making plans, or doing silly things. But BiYul believes that if she were to ever stop spending money on him, he wouldn't be her "friend". He thinks of her as a good friend, but she keeps up a sort of money wall.

Friend, Jang JinYoung (RaNiA Xia) ⋮ 19 ⋮ student ⋮ Bright, Clever, Spoiled ⋮ This is her "girl-friend" they are shopping buddies, lunch buddies, any form of going out and doing something JinYoung is a part of it.

Friend, Lee JaeJun (C-Clown Maru) ⋮ 18 ⋮ Student ⋮ Petty, Pushy, Self-centered ⋮ If BiYul is with JaeJun, she is probably going to be doing something that can get her in a lot of trouble. She kind of uses JaeJun for his knowledge to getting away with stuff, and he uses her as a potential scapegoat. IF they were to ever get caught or get into trouble, he would rat her out to save himself.

⟪ WEAKNESSES ⟫ She dosen't apply herself. She has shown awesome promise in her studies, but she spends much of her time only focusing on her creativity. 180x225

⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫ Jaebum is very tame. He follows rules and works hard. He grew up very differently than BiYul did. In order to get the things he wanted he had to work hard for them, he worked many part-time jobs in high school, and even helped his family out in their record store. Jaebum is a person who loves life, there is nothing that life can throw at him that will catch him off-guard or break him down.

⟪ ANY LAST COMMENT ⟫ Nope... I hope you like her, and I hope she isn't a cliche. I tried to make her geuine and believable...

⟪ SCENE REQUESTS ⟫ Ah! I'm not good at coming up with these on the spot. I give you full artistic license to do anything with BiYul you wish to do.

⟪   PASSWORD  ⟫ Supurbia

⟪ RELATIONSHIP ⟫ Jaebum brings out BiYul's potential without putting out the fire she has in her. He keeps her safe, not arrested, and healthy. They argue frequently, mostly because BiYul likes to start arguments for the fun of arguing. Everything with him seems different to her , though. While they argue, she finds that she is the one losing her temper, rather than him getting angry. She feels guilty when she sneaks around doing things that might be illegal or wrong because he comes to mind. She finds herself able to relax around him, something she hasn't been able to do with anyone but her father.

Jaebum is like sweatpants... or fresh-baked cookies and milk to her. He pays for things for her, becuase he says it is right that he pay, since she is a girl. He plans things for the two of them to do together, rather than her devising a scheme. He makes sure she stays happy and comfortable, which is something that she never recieved from anyone but her father.

She pulls away from him often despite his caring demeanor, hence the frequent arguments. BiYul does this because she dosen't quite understand. Its common sense that these are things that boyfriends do for their girlfriends. She gets that he cares about her, and she cares about him, but she dosen't get it. Something is comfusing to her because it's a series of feelings she hasn't felt. The patience Jaebum has for her push-and-pull behavior allows for her to become comfortable with her emotions, and come back to him.

He is like a buffer for BiYul. In stead of her being so off-the-wall forget-the-law, he leads her towards the path of putting more thought into things. As her first genuine relationship, he has many things to teach her that she otherwise wouldn't learn until her worst fear came true.

⟪ HISTORY ⟫ Jaebum is a friend of her brother's, they saw each other a lot while growing up, but never really went past "How are you?". BiYul figured, since he is MinHul's friend, they are just two very different types of people, so there was no reason to progress past the polite conversation you have with people that you see frequently.

That changed when BiYul got herself into a bit of a mess. She had gone out to a party and got stuck outside early in the morning.... or very late at night (depends on what you would call the 3-6am span). After spending a lot of time drinking, she was intoxicated and incapable of finding a way home. What she didn't know was that the party - and her spot on the ground - were close to Jaebum's house.

Jaebum - who was up at these ridiculous hours because he was training/practicing to be a musician - recognized the stupid girl on the street and took her into his house. He scolded her, and questioned her, but made sure she was safe and warm until she was sober enough to return home. She didn't ever find hersef outside that drunk, alone anymore after that.

⟪ OTHER ⟫ Although their relationship sounds pretty, it is most definitely not. BiYul puts JAebum through a lot of greif, fighting with him one day, ignoring him for a week, coming back and treating him like he's nothing more than a friend, then returning to him fully as his girlfriend, only to pull away from him again. He puts up with a lot of nonsense from her, and he looses his temper from time to time also (although he is the type to internalize it rather than yell back at her). The thing is that he can always figure out the answer to the question "Why?". When BiYul goes off -without saying anything to Jaebum - to play in an abandoned warehouse with some of her crappy "friends" with the excuse that she is experiencing life, or drops more money than necessary to take an unplanned trip to jeju-do, he gets it. He dosen't agree, or like it, but he gets it. Slowly BiYul understands how important of a person Jaebum is, and how lucky she is that he is hers.
