He wears his dark brown hair with lighter brown streaks longer than most boys, with a fringe that he is constantly brushing out of his eyes. He also has several small scars on his hands from handling fishing hooks. STYLE ♡ Shiko is the type to dress simply. Usually, he is fond of weaing only a simple cotton shirt over loose board shorts type trousers. These, he wears in dark and neutral colours such as black, grey, white or blue, usually without any designs. |

PLOTLINE ♡ Male Tribute PERSONALITY ♡ — selfish, loner, revengeful, courageous, determined, adaptable
[LONER] Working together? Nah, it doesn't really work out for Shiko. Always seen by himself, he rarely strays into the company of most simply because he hates it. In fact, he can almost always be found sneaking out of the fence that his district's boundaries and hanging around outside by himself. He's very terrible at working with others, due to his desire for selfish gains, and more often than not chooses to do all the hard work himself as he would get all the rewards instead of having to split them up. Because of his unwillingness to interact with people, it's no surprise that Shiko barely knows what to do in front of others and often ends up being an awkward fool. This only serves to enhance his love for being by himself since no one will be there to judge him. [REVENGEFUL] If anyone dares to harm or anger Shiko, they can be sure that they won't be living in peace anymore. Being a tad too addicted to the idea of revenge, Shiko is absolutely scary when one even accidentally crosses the wrong paths with him. He'll go to hell and back to make said person's life as difficult as possible, and he won't stop until the person has paid 10x the price of what he was made to go through. Even if he has appeared to have forgiven the person, you can be sure it's just an act to humiliate the person even further. [COURAGEOUS] In spite of all his glaring flaws, Shiko does have his good points, one of which is being brave. He has no fear of anything, and is willing to do things that one else dares to. In fact, he's so brave that others label him as stupid, seeing how he doesn't even care how dangerous it might be. [DETERMINED] If he wants something, he'll do anything for it. He never gives up on something, no matter how high the odds are against him. He's willing to fight tooth and claw, as well as do things that aren't really legal, just so he can get what he wants. Shiko also loves winning, even in the most mundane of tasks such as catching the most fish, and he's notorious for being willing to play dirty just to win. [ADAPTABLE] Put Shiko in a new environmentnand he'll still find a way to continue with his life. It doesn't matter where he is or how life is treating him, Shiko is able to take everything in his stride and find a way over any difficulties. |

THERE'S MORE TO YOU THAN MEETS THE EYE...
PAST ♡ Born in District 4, the district known for its fishing, Shiko was raised like any other child in his district. He was taught how to swim, catch fish and handle fishing equipment from a very young age. As one of the very few Asians that lived in District 4, Shiko was often teased by the others for looking different. As such, he spent his earlier days hanging around and helping the adults to fish in order to gain their protection from the much bigger sized bullies. Growing older, he stumbled upon a way to sometimes escape the boundaries of the district, and although it was very dangerous, he grew fond of slipping out unnoticed and exploring the world outside by himself.
Growing up, he didn't really care much about the Hunger Games; to him, it wasn't part of his life. And the people closest to him didn't care much about it either, let the other ambitious people of the district participate in it. Until the year he turned 15, when both a childhood friend and his sister got picked to be tributes. Once nonchalant about the Games, Shiko finally understood the horror of these Games as he watched it unfold on screen. Watching his sister die was the blow that made him hate the system so much. He didn't unedrstand the need for innocent lives to sacrificed for a lesson already learnt and he vowed to one day get revenge for her. Fortunately, his friend managed to make it home in one piece.
PRESENT ♡ Shiko's daily routine hasn't really changed much. He still spends his days fishing, swimming or hanging around with his friend. The only change is that he often finds himself trouble with the adults for speaking out about the system of the Hunger Games as he isn't afriad to voice his opinions after what happened to his sister. TRIVIA ♡ - Shiko is honestly very, very sick of fish. He hates eating it and often tosses it to the family dog to eat under the table - He can hold his breath for long periods of times and is known for being able to stay underwater the longest; 7 minutes -He's known for one of his very dirty tricks; when running from someone, he will head to water and swim to the deep areas before attacking his pursuer from below - He's terrible at fighting with weapons and tends to use his environment to his advantage instead, such as coating unsuspecting people with substances that would cause them to be attacked by animals or making his great escape through treetops with his attacker chasing him for below, only to fall into a hole, which makes it easy for him to dispatch them - Shiko has the memory of a computer and is able to remeber things that most people would have forgotten - Although he swims very fast, he is very slow in running - He tends to bite his lip whenever he isn't talking or eating - Has a habit of ignoring people around him while's he's thinking |

The fater and son realtionship is very tight. Growing up, Shiko usually hung around his father for he had no intention of being stuck doing girly chores with his mum, and his father was the one that taught him all that he knows. He still enjoys helping his father and spending time around him, but those visits aren't as frequent as they used to be. Nevertheless, whenever they see each other, Keizo is always laughing and joking around with his son. He's always boasting about Shiko to his friends, proud of the not so little warrior that he's raised, much to Shiko's embarrassment. — Mother / Okimoto Sei / 44 / Old-fashioned,calm,optimistic,fussy Sei was the one that took most care of Shiko when he was young, thus it's no surprise that their bond is the closet. She knows simply from intuition whenever something is wrong, and although doesn't press her son for it, will wait patiently for him to reveal it when he wants to. She knows practically everything about Shiko and is the one he ususally goes to for advice. Sei is also always fussing over Shiko, much to his horror, for she has no qualms about showing her motherly affections even in public, going so far as to pull Shiko's ear when he's being inappropriate and generally treating him like he's five. — Sister / Ichihara Hiroko / 16 (at time of death) / Bubbly,shy,lazy,stubborn Before her death, Shiko considered his sister as one of his very few friends. He was often running after her and protecting her from all those boys who either tried to make a move on her or bully her. Although Hiroko was a shy girl, Shiko always knew how to make her smile and the times these two spent together were filled with laughter and fun. — Ghost / everyone in District 4 calls him that after his stint in the previous Hunger Games where he would appear seemingly out of nowhere to kill his opponents before disappearing again thanks to how fast he was able to move
— Baka / An 'endearing' nickname that Shiko refers to him as. It means idiot in Japanese but it's not like Tao would ever know the meaning, right? SUMMARY ♡ Tao grew up just like Shiko did, doing the same activites while growing up. The only difference was that his father was secretly training him to participate in the Hunger Games one day. However, he never really did care about all that nonsense about the games, and was only concerned about his life in the district. During the years, he was both an enemy and a close friend to Shiko, and the two were always together. When he was 16, Shiko's sister was picked to be a tribute, and knowing just how much Hiroko meant to Shiko, he volunteered himself as well, simply because he wanted to protect Shiko's sister for him. However, despite his best efforts, Hiroko still fell prey to the horrors of the Games, something that he's always felt guilty about, even to this day. Tao's is a hot-headed idiot who would never back own without a fight. Unlike Shiko, who doesn't lash out unprovoked, Tao is always looking for a fight, often loving to tease and poke others until they snap. He's also a very persistent and loyal guy.Much like a dog and its bone, he would do anything to keep something by his side or get what he wants. He nevers gives up on anything, which oftens annoys the other kids as he would keep trying again and again until he got what he wanted. Also unlike Shiko, Tao is a very selfless person. He would never leave someone in the lurch even if it menas he'll get hurt. He's careless in his actions though, and more often than not, others find themselves picking up after him as he never seems to really think through his actions. ♡ fight fire with fire♡

FIRST MEETING ♡ The two met while they were youung kids. Like most children in their district, they had learnt to swim from a young age and often spent their free time splashing around. Shiko had found a small lake hidden in the forest just beyond the boundaries of the district, and had claimed it as his own private swimming pool since no one else knew about it. Until one day, he arrived to find a boy slightly older than him that he recognized from around the neighbourhood swimming lazily around his lake. Angered, he demanded for the other to leave, but when the other wasn't willing to, they ended up deciding to have a swimming race to decide who the lake would belong to. Although Shiko himself was one of the best swimmers his age, the other managed to tie with him again and agin, until at last, exhausted, they stopped, with Shiko agreeing to share the lake with someone who he deemed to have good enough swimming skills.
RELATIONSHIP ♡ Since young, they've always had a love-hate relationship. Forever arguing with one another, yet always having each others' back, the two have a very strange relationship. They are fond of fighting over the smallest of things, from one breathing to loudly to stealing each others' food. While most friendships involve hugs and friendly touches, theirs are full-blown fights that involve pucnhing, kicking and biting. Although they are always fighting, the two always seem to forgive each other within the hour and would soon be back to their friendly banter. Sometimes, when one of them is being bullied or teased, the other will jump in to rescue the other, and most admit that they make a formidable duo, always winning any scrapes they get into. Though their relationship is extremely close, they don't tell each other many things, leaving the other to suspect something is wrong before attempting to threathen the secret out of them. Thus, although they don't like telling each other stuff, they know practically all there is to know about each other. They are usually seen together, and most regard them as a package deal, as they would never be far from each other. Truthfully, a lot of people their age are shipping these two, while the adults are under the impression that they're together, what with their stupid antics and Shikko's willingness to make an exception for the other and protect him even if he wouldn't gain anything.
