The biggest tip you'll ever need here in AFF.

So apparently, aff will automatically put a red gift box next to the date when you joined the site. Do I get a gift or wat loljk. So in between Kaisoo's birthday lies the the day I decided to pursue writing. It's kinda entertaining to reminiscence how I started here, 200% aspiring to make a name for my books out here (started from the bottom now we're here~~~)

So far, I have 5085 unique followers. And I am thankful for that. Before I won the advertisement bid last 8th, I only had around 2000 (which I was already thankful of). Can you imagine that? Having half of ten thousand is already a big deal for me. I'm not saying that I'm a popular writer now, and that I'm among the most well known authors here. Going straight to the point, if you have the most amazing story ever written, but you don't have the networking, your story will never gain the fullest love it deserves. The truth is, it's never a one way ride. Brilliant Mind + Amazing Networking = Overwhelming Outcome.

It is damn true that it takes years to make a name in aff, or in wattpad, or in any other writing sites. And I'm not saying this because I am boastful about where I am right now. I am also not implying that you need to be a social climber and make friends with everyone and be a person who only talks to people just because they want to be popular. In my case, I never wanted to be popular here, I only wished for my stories to reach out to people and make them feel emotions.

I want to share this tip because I know there's a lot of aspiring authors right there. I've been there, still there. So I want you guys to just be patient about it. Write for yourself and those people who  reads your stories. Always keep on improving even though you dont know what else to prove. And be the truest person you'll ever be, because you'll just see people unconsciously drawn to you. And if they see you worth it, they will help you to spread the word about your works. I personally believe that patience can build or destroy, and you have the choice whether to keep on striving or give up on this worderful art of writing.
