Be Patient

I'm sorry but I'm actually pretty annoyed right now with what I have been seeing with the comments that I'm getting on some of my fics in the way of... they don't understand that I can't update quickly. I have never actually updated anything quickly unless I'm in the mood. Unfortunately there is no longer a downvote button to downvote the comments that go "update soon" (aka the most annoying comment in the entire world of fanfiction comments). But I have also had people that go "where are you" and things like "don't abandon this fic" -_- Okay first of all... have anyone seen how many fics I have that I'm currently writing right now? I go from one fic to another writing one paragraph each IF I HAVE THE DRIVE TO WRITE THAT FANFIC. If I don't have any inspiration for the fic... I don't automatically update it. I also have something called a life. I don't know about you but I do have a life outside writing fanfiction and such. So it would be nice if people would just learn to be patient. Think about it, there's a chance that a majority of writers aren't updating their fics anymore because they don't have inspiration for the fic, or even get fully annoyed when people go "update soon". Or they don't have the time. Or they abandoned the fic. Now I think people have officially abandoned their fics if there hasn't been any sort of update for year and years but sometimes people take that long to get inspiration again. Therefore only ASSUME a fic has been abandoned when an author says they have abandoned it. I'm pretty sick of seeing people that don't know how to be patient for the updates. Look at my GTae fic... I actually didn't have the drive to write it for almost a year and that I finished it within a year and that was just a oneshot but I still finished it. (Then again I wrote it for my friend because he kept requesting it.) But still.... stop commenting things like "where are you?" or "update soon" to an author... and only putting that. It only makes it look like you're trying to get the karma jsyk.

I know how you feel. It gets irritating :| Work at your own rate, definitely. Don't mind them.
