Brown locks, expressive eyes, pointed nose and small lips are the things people love about the face, of the girl named Nam Hye Jin. Often mistaken as a sixteen year old school girl, her small height explains why it is so. She owns long brown soft curls that sparkles every time it hits the sun's light. Her perfectly drawn eye brows accentuates her not-too-small yet not-too-big eyes. Plus her smile, who doesn't love that?

Hye Jin is known to be a simple fashionista. She doesn't like it when she's overdressed. Whenever important occasions arise, she'll prod a fresh dress from her neat wardrobe and pair it with either flats or wedges. Because she is born small, she appreciates heels very much and even thanks the creator of the most precious fashion item. Yet she only wears it rarely, if certain happenings occur such as going out with tall friends and partying. But on regular days you'll see her wearing the most simple ensemble: shirt, jeans, chucks, plus sweater if the weather's cold.  She never puts much effort in styling her hair; just hand comb it and encircle a pony tail and she's all set. Not that she hates make-ups but you'll rarely see her do one, perhaps a liner, lip gloss and powder will be fine. This is how her fashion goes, living out the cliche simplicity is beauty.

If there will be a word to describe Nam Hye Jin, it would be 'responsible'. In everything, she feels like she's always the person who is obligated to do things and be blamed if those things fail. Maybe because she's a noona to her twin brothers, and her parents weren't always around. Jen is aware of the prize of the tasks she always do during trainings, so it pushes her harder to work. In everything she does, she always put her mind onto that and that's what makes her succeed.  Her determination is impeccable.

Even if she's busy with her trainings, Hye Jin never forgets to call her brothers on a weekly basis just to ask them if they are well, and if they already have girlfriends.  She loves taking care of people and even dreamt of being a social volunteer back when she hasn't learned what her ambition really is. Even to her members, she shows her affection. After practices she always bring bottles of orange juice with her and hands those to them. Hye Jin also loves skinship very well; hugging her co-trainees whenever they succeed a certain task,  and even kissing her younger brothers on their cheeks, to which the boys freak out the most. Name it, she does it.

Although she's petite, her voice is no joke. Hye Jin is also synonymous to being loud at everything she does, won't just shut up. She shouts at simple things, screams loudly at frightening cockroaches, at sings off-tunely. This loudness comes also in a different way. Sometimes, she spills out things that are out of the world, even secrets. She just cannot control on when to and not to speak. You guess it-- her mind has another mouth of its own. This is why she  almost had a fight with her classmate when she was still in middle school.  Her brothers really appreciate it if you give her packing tapes.

If anything, she's really clumsy at heart. She tends to spill drinks at the coffee shop she always visits, that's why the owner always gives her extra tissues just in case. Hye Jin doesn't really know why but she is really clumsy. Her health isn't that well, so maybe that's one factor too. One time she was walking down the hall of a hotel she and her family stays when she heard an upbeat song, she started dancing and didn't noticed the vase near her. Want to know what happened? Of course, she nudged the vase, it fell, it broke, her father paid $10 for that vintage vase.

— what's happened in the past, happens in the past

It was in the middle of day, August 4, 1997, when her mom felt her water bag burst, telling her that sooner or later her child will come out. It was in an imperfect moment though, as her mom was busy selling on the market when Hyejin decided to break free. Her mom was sent to the nearest hospital; her father, who's busy fishing in the middle of the sea, rushed towards the hospital; even thought of swimming just to go there as fast as he can just to attend her crying wife and daughter. Later on, a baby girl cried out from her mother's womb. Nam Hye Jin was born.

Growing up, Hyejin was raised like a normal kid. Her family wasn't well enough to spoil her, but at least keep them from surviving each three meals a day. Her father was only a local fisherman, who goes out to the sea as early as three in the morning to fish, and dock at seven to deliever those boxes of fresh fish for her mom to sell at the central market. She learned to sell fishes and make the customers happy by her performing on a tall platform beside her mother who's busy scaling the fishes. After a couple of years, Junu came out which made her a noona. Following suit was Kwang Jun; she became her dongsaeng's mother since her parents weren't always at home.

One day while walking home, she heard Bigbang's Lies playing on the TV. She halted for a moment, and watched the five guys perform on stage. It was beautiful, she thought. How does it feel to sing for those thousands of people? From there on, she was determined on becoming like them, an Idol. She took singing classes aside from her acting classes at school, and even asked her friends to teach her how to dance. Years after meeting Bigbang on screen, she finally took the courage to audition for YG, with the help of her cousin Taehyun.

SUMMARY OF THEIR TRAINING SO FAR —

2011. She tried all her luck and prayed hard to be accepted in YG's auditions. Luckily she did, she barely made it. When she sang Miley Cyrus' "When I look at you", you can see on the judges faces that they aren't moved enough, but thankfully she pulled it off neatly. She already knew that once she enters the auditions, life will only get tougher and harder. Everyday she will wake up with exhaustion written all over her face, take a 10 minute jog outside, take a bath and go to the YG trainees building to do the normal routine she does for four years already: warm-up, sing different songs, dance and prepare for the monthly evaluation of Mr. Yang. Everyday she doesn't know when will their group's debut day will be, will it be tomorrow? next week? next month? or... next year? She doesn't know.

personality — He's meek, he's shy, he's unsociable. That's what people tell whenever they see the boy Jung Chanwoo. At first glance, he may seem to be weak and untalented, but you're eyes are so wrong. He may be the last one to join the group, but he's not lacking. He improves everyday because he works hard for it. He doesn't want to disappoint everybody so he tries hard, even pulls out an all nighter just to practice a three-minute dance and a song performance. But even though he's like that, he still plays and acts like a kid. What can you expect from a 17 year old?

relationship — Although there's a presence of a year , the two couldn't care less. Hyejin cares for the younger like he's her brother. Probably because she's missing her brother who is nearly the same age as Chanwoo. The latter sees the female like a noona too, at first. But after all those thoughtfulness Hyejin shows, it's impossible that the young boy wouldn't fall for the pretty girl.

history — It was July, and the night is drawing deeper. Chanwoo can't help but to press a sigh, he has been living in a distray since Yang Hyun Suk announced he and Jinhyeong's addition to the team. Of course he wasn't insensitive, the hyung's wanted the team to debut as six, blam the bond they have shared for years. But he also has the same dream; "I want to sing too," he thought. "I love to perform, it's my life."

Trying out to release his stress, he decided to go to the nearest convinience store to buy a drink. He stood out from sitting and watching Hanbin do the choreography they'll be performing in front of Mr. Yang in two weeks. "Hyung, I'll just go outside."

Bobby looked at his side, "what for?"

"okay then, come back soon alright? Hanbin's gonna teach the steps in a minute." After having his hyung's permission, he finally went out the door and trailed the way to the market.

Inhale. Exhale. Ahh, how he missed the fresh air. It has been a stressful day full of practices, and it has been different from the life he had as an actor. Just memorize the script, internalize it and act it out like it's true-- cut! It's done; but the idol life is different. way way different.

Entering the store, he made his way to buy fruit drinks. He also bought six more for his hyungs. Chanwoo was about to grab the last one when someone stole it away from him.

"Hey that's my--"

"Oh, I'm sorry is this yours?" He glanced over where the voice came from, it was from a girl. She's pretty. The girl squinted her eyes as if she's thinking about something. and cute.

"Wait I think I know you," the girl said. It made him nervous and flustered at the same time. He knows him as an actor? from the show? or did he did something bad? I didn't do anything bad, I swear I-- he was cut off as the girl shouted, "ah! I know now!" He eyed her, signalling her to be quiet and the female obliged. "You're Jung Chanwoo right?"

"How, how did you know?"

"You don't remember me? I was also in the set of boys over flowers! Although I was just selling fish cakes that time." Her laugh was music in his ears.

He scratched his head, talking with the unknown girl as they approach the counter to pay their drinks. The conversation went on and on as they walked down the road. And they were both surprised when they both reached the same destination.

"You're a trainee too!?" both of them said, shocked evident on their faces.

other — Eversince that meeting the two became close. Hyejin comforting Chanwoo whenever he feels down, all throughout the mix&match show. Chanwoo is comfortable calling her by her name which was alright to Hyejin. They do skinships very naturally because they are friends.  Well that's what Hyejin thinks of it, but Chanwoo thinks otherwise. He has taken a liking to her friend, and he's too timid to confess.
