appearance standing 170 cm and weighing 56 kg, gong yebin is undeniably one of the tallest girls around sm. she is very proud of her long milky legs and thick lips. Often mistaken as a cold-hearted girl, yebin's eyes can fool everyone. With her large brown eyes she shows very minimal expressions that sometimes confuse those who talk to her. but ironically, her smile that prods her pearly white teeth is one of the most sweetest smiles you have ever seen. she also wears a chest-long hair that she never dyed with any color, except for blonde. one thing to identify who is yebin is her scar on her left palm thatshe got after falling off a skateboard trick.
 

style HER fashion sense is not too glamorous nor too simple. yebin likes playing with different styles so you can see her almost everyday with a different outfit of the day. although she prefers shorts and skirts over pants, and loose tops over fitted ones. you can basically see her wearing a t-shirt two to three times larger than her size, comfortable shorts, and sneakers during her trainings; hanging blouses and denim short on casual days; and dresses as her airport fashion.

               at first sight yebin may look shy and unsociable and everything negative, but once you get to know her she is the exact opposite. waking up, you will hear her singing even if you're still inside your room lying on the bed or even in the washroom. she is a very noisy person who doesn't stop talking until a) she gets scolded or b) she is eating. when the mood is awful, she throws puns and jokes on the very weirdest moment which makes everyone turn into her and crack up. both on-cam or off-cam, yebin is a very funny girl who loves caring about other people.

               because she's still a teen, yebin is a very attentive girl towards instructions. she makes sure she follows them right and never forgets what she has been told. but yes, since she is still a teen, she tends to get lazy after doing a lot of practices and that includes not doing house works (washing dishes) after trainings. one second, yebin laughs, the next second she is already pissed. you never know what goes around her head because it is concealed on her eyes. she doesn't love any other trainings other than dance practices. and she sometimes she shows off her skills to other people around her, that's why she is sometimes tagged as an arrogant yebin.

background 
born and raised on the west, yebin was taught to be an independent lady. since both of her parents are working full-time, she got used on not depending on her parents and lived experimenting on a lot of things. she was born on the 13th of october 1997 with a twin sister who looks exactly like her. only way of knowing who's who is through a scar that yebin got when she was young. she also dyed her hair blonde to add to their differences. eulbi, her twin, is already a born genius while yebin was not. but even though she doesn't excel on academics, she is a very talented kid most especially on her first love: dancing.

 

yebin was introduced to dancing when she was fourth grade. on her way home, she saw a few guys learning a cool choreography and she was inspired by that scene. so ever since that day, she convinced her dad to sign her up on dancing classes and she even joined dancing clubs to further enhance her talent. years after, she became a skilled dancer who is famous on the underground name of medusa. but fate made her go home to her roots, korea, when her grandmother died.

 

she still joined a few dance competitions and battles here in korea, where a talent coordinator from sm entertainment noticed her potential. yebin considered the offer and thought of her life as an idol. she can sing too, and can dance greatly so she asked for her parents' consent and  at the age of 14, she became an official trainee of the said company.
 

DAILY LIFE 
the alarm rings and yebin reaches for her phone to turn it off. she gets up and does her morning rituals to prepare herself for another day. today is monday, a day of classes and trainings. she puts on her uniform and goes to her high school, the seoul performing arts academy, from where she is already a senior student. she opens her phone to check her day's sechedule and notices she has five classes today. after her class she heads straight to her second home, the practice room, because she still has to train with other trainees. at eight o'clock, the time for vocal and dance lessons is already done, and yebin yearns to sleep to prepare herself for another challenging day.
