background. lee jongsuk was born in sEptember 14, 1990 at yongin, gyeonggi-do, south korea.  he was the first child of lee sungung and nam eunha. he has a younger brother and sister. his parents were divorced when he was 7 years old. when he was 10, his mother died and jongsuk visiTs once a year, even though she was with him in a short time. they were raised alone by his father. his father was strict to him because he is the eldest but he's shy and quiet. his father let him learn how to play piano, do taekwondo and play korean chess. jongsuk got interested in acting when he saw Rain in full house. he went into acting school and signed in a company. but the company made him a model and had his first runaway when he was 15. he started living alone in seoul to continue modeling. after graduating In a performing arts school, he pursuEd his carEer along with acTing. at 2013, lee Jongsuk won best new actor Award.

Q1. first off, how about you introduce yourself? tell us a little bit about you. "should i? i think everyone already knows me *chuckles then apOlogize* hello. my name's lee jongsuk, the rising star of asia. *bows* i think i'm one of the oldest, 1990. i've been in the dramas: secret garden, school 2013, i can hear your voice, doctor stranger, and pinocchio. i'm not that friendly but i'm approachable. i'll be your cool oppa *winks* i hope you will enjoy my presence. *smiles*"

Q2. have you ever been on a variety show before? do you ever wanted to be on one? "yes, *nods* i've been in variety shows before. i always want to be on variety shows because i can show my real self, meet new people, and sometimes interact with fans."

Q3. how did you react when you were chosen to be in this new variety show? what do you think about the 'life is sweet'?  "i was very glad that i was chosen to participate in this. there was also nervousness because this Will be the longest variety show i participated. i think the show is very unique because it has a new concept and the fans will really like it. *nods and smiles*"

q4. what are you expecting in this show? full of fun? a bit of drama? who else do you think will be in the show besides you? "The first thing that came on my mind is the lUxurY and relaxation i could experience. *chuckles* the show will be fun, 200% sure. *two thumbs up* because artists could have a get together and different personalities will be shown in the show. drama didn't pass on my mind and even though i'm an actor, i don't Really like showing real life drama. i'm expecting there will be alot of idols, and a few fellow actors."

Q5. what's your relationship with other _____ (actors or models) you work with? will you act the same way with people on the show?  "*with a serious facE* i seldomly gets close to people I model with and the cast that are not associated with my character. but some actors, like kim woobin and park boyoung, whose character is important to mine, i become friends with them. so when we work together, it isn't uncomfortable. but i respond back those who approaches me first. *nods* i am a friendly person but i'm sometimes picky to the people i approach. *laughs* and i'll prevent it, i will be friendly to all in this show. *smiles*"

Q6. you will be staying in a house with 11 other people, how would you behave around them? "truthfully, i think 12 people in one house is a little crowded. what i usually do in a crowd event or area is i stay close to my friend. i think i should avoid being like that. *lowers head a little but looks in the camEra directly* but i'll still do that when i feel alone."

Q7. while you'll be in this show, you will develop new kinds feelings and relationships with others, what kind of relationship do you think you will develope? "i will have a strong friendship with someone because i lived with him/her. *looks down on the side* i'm not really expecting to much on this, but if a lady appears on the show who fits my ideal type or maybe has a cute charm, i may develop romantic feelings for her. ever since the dating trend started, i wanted to try and experience it too... *looks straight doWn* *suDdenly looks up to the pd* am i being too honest? *laughs* sorry to my fans. but i really may be, may be, may be on a romantic relationship with someone here. just wait and see *looks directly on the camera with a mischievous smile*"
