APPEARANCE. Taehyuk has natural black hair that you'll always find dyed a different color than so. fans often point out his "bunny teeth" that he's learned to love but was once very insecure about. his skin is some what more tan than most of the members which could make him stand out in some senses. his ears are both pierced twice.
STYLE. Taehyuk's style is very versitile. One day he'll be dressed in all black, the next day he'll be decked out in neon colors. His style really goes with how he's feeling that day.

PERSONALITY.
   — Taehyuk is very friendly and out going, he truly cares about everyone and it's hard for him to say no. He's very goofy and is a big dork who's just high on life and loves to have a good time. It's hard to get him in a bad mood, but once it's there, it's not leaving for a good thirty minutes to an hour or until some one can calm him down from his little tantrum. He's a very accepting person and has a good outlook on every one. He has open ears and open arms so he loves it when people come to him with their problems, even though he might not be able to help. Conversations are Taehyuk's domain. He knows exactly what to say to start a conversation with just about anyone. There's not a quiet room when Taehyuk's around, unless he's absorbed in something else he's doing.
In school, his teacher would move his seat around the class room to try and get him to stop talking, but the next day he would have already made friends with the people he was sitting next to. Taehyuk has enough energy to fuel 100 chipmunks and then some. Either it's his stamina or he's just naturally wired, but he's always energetic and loud. However, when it's time for him to sleep, he doesn't have a sleepy stage, he just crashes when his body finally reaches 'E' on his little gas gauge, causing him to fall asleep any where, as long as he's sitting down. It's not to the extent where he'll fall asleep standing up, but say if he's sitting down or laying down he would just fall asleep there.
Despite Taehyuk's strong and quiet looks, he's actually very sassy, seductive, erted and a little overly protective. He's sarcastic so he has a different sense of humor than most of Korea. His mouth gets him in trouble often whether he's being stubborn, sarcastic, loud or just snarky. Just because he's like this some times doesn't mean he's like that all of the time. He's a very easy person to make friends with even though he may come off as cold when you watch him from a distance. To add to that, he's always causing trouble with the other members of his group. You can tell when he's in a bad mood because he won't be talking, and he will have a permanent stank face going on, but some times, he's just showing off his stank face with out knowing it. Most fan taken pictures are of him stank facing on stage.
Taehyuk's very lustful as a person. When it comes to food, girls, personal items or work, he's always saying yes, yes and yes. If he's offered something that can benifit him even to the slightest he won't turn it down. You could say that he craves the spot light and the attention he gets from his fan girls. He's known to hang around the female idols that have said that he's their ideal.
MC's, he has a stereo typical boy idol group member act on. He talks normally and he's just always happy. If it's a long appearance however, he'll eventually open up and become his true self.
Around fans, he has a lot of fan service and has a hard time saying no when they ask him of something like a picture or an autograph. He's very nice to them and cares about them a lot so when they push each other he gets very hurt emotionally and tells them not to.

   — when some female trainees were dancing dr. feel good for their evaluation at the company, a few days before hand one of the trainees was absent and so taehyuk filled in her place since he knew the dance and they didn't want to practice with a hole. another trainee filmed this for when he debuted and the video has since then spread across the web. since then, he has been doing kkab when he gets the chance

BACKGROUND. 
   — Taehyuk realized he wanted to be an idol when he saw h.o.t. for the first time. He was only 11-12 at the time, but he liked how they danced and sang all together as a group and he wanted to grow up and be in their place on stage one day. Taehyuk honestly couldn't see himself doing anything else with his life. In ninth grade, Taehyuk and two of his male friends decided to make a sort of an underground rapping group. The group was simply called Taehyuk x Daegun x Minho. This didn't last past their sophomore year as they only did rap covers of guy group songs. ​
While Taehyuk was at a concert, he was leaving the venue early and a talent scout stopped him and handed him their card. At first he thought it was fake and wasn't going to call, but something told him to call the company.
When Taehyuk was a junior in high school, he took a foreign exchange program and moved to America for a year and learned English. There he learned English and picked up the name Tyler.
   — Taehyuk had to balance training and school. This of course, took a toll on his body. He either had to choose between eating or sleeping. Most of the time Taehyuk would choose sleep since he would be too tired to do anything but sleep. This caused his weight to drop and his bmi quickly dropped along with this, putting him under weight. To debut, the ceo told him he had to gain weight in order to debut.

   — Taehyuk is himself typically around Yoonjo and she's the same around Taehyuk. If anything, the two try and not be so out going as if they're afraid they're going to scare each other away. When they're together however, even though the two aren't dating, the two can't focus on anything accept each other so they're always handsy and skin shippy. Others have explained their relationship as if they're a married couple deeply in love. This has shocked s because they're used to the commitment issue Taehyuk from pre-debut.
