Personality: SLYTHERIN // ENTJ // AQUARIUS
Overall, Alex is your typical chill partier who happens to be high half of the time. He's fun loving, adventurous, daring and rather friendly. However if you want to delve into his bad side he can be pessimistic, rough hearted and he definitely will tell you like it is and maybe hurt your feelings a bit in the process. Despite these things he tends to get along well with most everyone he meets, rarely finding someone he thinks he can't vibe well with. He's kind of an underachiever, always just doing the bare minimum in school, but he somehow has a pretty good GPA (if you think a 3.4 is good.)
Without meaning to, Alex can be a flirt. But not in the flirtatious way, but in the friendly way, if that makes sense. His type of friendship persuit often can be seen as flirtatious when it's towards girls, but he acts the same way with guys as well if you put it into persepective. It's been pointed out to him a few times but he always shrugs it off. He definitely doesn't see it as a bad thing.
Alex also likes to think that he has a great sense of humor, which in fact is maybe the opposite. It's riddled with dark humor and a lot of things that high school boys would laugh at. Farts. Drawing on things....

 

Background: Alex came from out of state, Texas specifically, mainly because he wanted to go to a school in a state with legal marajuana use and frankly because he wanted to get away from his parents. Both of his parents are Chinese professors back in Texas, so he knew he would never be able to escape them if he went anywhere in his home state. But with that being said, his parents are fairly middle class, comfortably living, and even though he won't admit it, Alex's father deposits an allowance into his account every Friday. Because he enjoyed his time at USC, he's already committed to the Psychology Graduate program at the school.

 

School Year: Senior
Major: Undergrad. Psychology 

 

Clubs and Societies: let's just say that he is a huge underachiever

College Life: Of course, Alex is taking the minimum amount of hours to be enrolled into the university full time. He blocked his four classes in the afternoon every day so he can have the rest of the day free once he's out of his second class for the day. His party schedule is more difficult than his own class schedule. Considering he ends his days on Thursdays, that's when the partying starts and he doesn't stop until Sunday so he has a day to actually get his together before he goes back to class. Even though he only parties on the weekend, he still partakes in drinking and smoking during the week day, but nothing too heavy if it's alcohol related.

 

Accomodation: Alex stays in a one bedroom apartment just a couple of blocks away from school. Although he doesn't have roommates, his friends all live near by so he's constantly having them over for their 'scheming.' His apartment is your typical college guy's apartment, usually no good food, an abundance of alcohol, at least two empty beer bottles left out at all times and be careful you don't step on a pointy  weed stem left in the carpet.

• applying chapstick - He has one for his backpack, his car, his room, his living room... Truly a chapstick connoisseur.

• squinting to see things far away - He has a perscription for glasses that he doesn't wear as well as a whole box of contacts that he also doesn't wear.

• patting his piercing - You can frequently see him checking to make sure it's still there, especially after physical activity. It's one of his biggest fears that it'll get ripped out.

 

• He can tell the difference between all fast food restaurants chicken nuggets without being told his options.

• He can sleep nearly anywhere and in nearly any position.

• He's pretty flexible, but this is something else that he doesn't mention.

• It can't be considered a hobby, but when he has nothing else to do he'll scroll through TikTok. He also knows how to quote most famous Vines by memory.

• If you speak Mandarin, he'll definitely speak it to you 50% of the time.

• "Don't let my opinion effect you."

• "Yeehaw" (this is always used as a joke in ironic moments because he's from Texas)

• He often makes up Chinese proverbs when he's talking to people who don't speak Mandarin. Most of the time what he actually says means nothing of relevance of what he's saying.

CHARIYA "DAO" SISUWAN // 21 // ???

Dao is an exchange student from Thailand who Alex has somehow managed to reel in. The trip is definitely half of an excuse for him to get away from her, considering they want separate things. She wants a relationship, he doesn't and she just doesn't understand that. Alex however, is a weak boy who can't not let her come over, especially when he knows she'll at least give him head. His friends say it's his fault she's lingering so hopefully the distance will be enough to finally cut things off.

KALLIE LIAO // 22 // AQUAINTANCE

Right off the bat Alex could tell that he and Kallie were complete opposites. She has ambition and drive and he likes smoking weed and rolling around in the sheets. This made him extremely interested in becoming her friend, though, especially because he would get to see her in settings that he was usually in himself. He thinks they get along pretty well because he truly just wants the best for her and her own interests, even if it means he has to open up to her a bit in the process. They have some things in common such as anime and video games, so he didn't take any time before bonding with her over them.

CHANEL WONG // 20 // AQUAINTANCE

You might expect Alex to be naturally attracted to a girl like Chanel, and you wouldn't be wrong considering the fact they both live rather similar life styles, but he definitely thinks friendship with her is most important and that's obvious in the way that he presents himself to her as well as with how he interacts with her. She is though, the person he has the most fun talking to since they get along well and they both relate on a lot of things when it comes to how they live.

RUSSELL LEE // 23 // AQUAINTANCE

Russell and Alex have possibly crossed pathes on multiple occasions (whether Alex was aware is beyond him) and considering they were at parties when they did says a lot about how the two bond. They're both guys who generally have the same interests so it's easy for them to get along.

LEON CHOI // 22 // AQUAINTANCE

Despite how different he is from Kallie, Alex actually finds Leon the hardest to get close to. He doesn't even know how to begin to approach him. Alex does try to strike up conversation and small talk with him in hopes that it might lead some where else, but it's kind of hard when you're constantly with other extroverted people. 

VANESSA TAN // 21 // AQUAINTANCE

Out of everyone, poor Vanessa doesn't fall in Alex's line of attention often. He knows the least about her, and although they get along well, he talks to her the least amount considering the amount of people on the trip and the way that they both express themselves. It often doesn't fall in line with each other, making it hard for him to approach her normally.

"Like I said, I need people like this in my life, staying seditary is probably the worst part of the school year for me. I need my summers to be fun and with people who can have fun with me."

 

 

"Yes, please give me anything not dark. Vodka, Tequila, Rum... Not to mention I think the 'jungle juice' recipe I have is kind of it right now. You can't even taste the alcohol if you ask me. My tolerance though... I think I have an average tolerance, it's good, y'know? I don't have to drink too much but I know how to get tastefully drunk. When we talk about me drunk, though, I guess I'm flirty, with anyone who will allow it. Hand holding? Cuddling? Making out? Sign me up.

Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but I do tend to encourage others to get drunk with me by handing them drinks, refilling their cups, going with them to take shots... Is that peer pressure?"
