Saera was bron and raised in Seoul, South Korea on December 28, 1996. She was born into a middleclass family. Saera lives with her grandparents along with her twin little brothers because her parents gave them up for adoption. Her parents didn't want to raise any more children so they let the grandparents have them. Saera was too young to understand why she lived with her grandparents now.
During her childhood, Saera would always help her grand parents around the house and always took care of her little brothers. When she wasn't helping her grabdparents she was drawing, reading a comic or play a video game. She learned how to sing from her grandmother whenever they cooked dinner together. After that she developed a love for singing and asked her grandparents to sign her up for music lessons. They agreed and Saera reassured them, she would take care of her little brothers still.
When Saera had turned fourteen, she had gotten a letter from her mother with money in it. She told her grandparents and they weren't happy about it. They sat her down and told her the story to why her parents abandoned her and her little brothers. After they told her she locked herself in her room for two days. When she did come out Saera had written her own letter and mailed it, in her letter she ask that her mother never write to her again and to stay out of her and her brothers life. Saera became a little cold after that.
When she turned sixteen, she became ineterested in becoming an idol when she went to a concert of 2NE1 with her best friends, Kim Heeyoung and Bae Taehyun. She wanted to sing and to be ostage and showcase her talent to the people. On Saturdays, Saera would sing cover songs at a small cafe. Saera was scouted by a person from Sevens Seasons Entertainment who heard her sing. Impressed they asked her to audition. Saera had asked her grandparents who were a little hesistant since her mother was an entertainer. Saera waited two days before they finally agreed to letting her go. Saera auditoned and was accepted into Seven Seasons Entertainment.

personality: Hayoung is a very happy person. She is always seen with a smile on her face. Hayoung is kind. She likes making people feel better and seeing them happy. She tries to make people laugh and smile. She tries to always make jokes but their lame and not very good. Hayoung is friendly and will approcah anyone, she'll ask how you are and how was your day. She tries to make evryone she meets comfortable. She has a big heart and cares for people she considers friends. Hayoung can be clumnsy. She can be a bit childish at times.
