Appearance: Sujin always says that if she hadn't been able to debut, she would have stayed on at STAR as a stylist. She always applies her makeup in ways that are just slightly flashier than normal, and she messes with her hair a lot as well, never keeping the same style for longer than a day or two at the most. Both ears are pierced once, and she favors smaller, stud earrings to dangling ones.

"Talk to me." ~ Sujin is a total mom. She's constantly fussing over the people around her, asking if they're doing alright and if she can do anything to help them. She loves helping out however she can, whenever she can. It's a personal joy making someone smile, so she goes out of her way to talk to those who seem down. Her ability to sit down and listen to someone with complete focus and no judgement is what allows others to actually trust her to listen to their woes. And she gladly will listen for as long as they need.

 

"Squirrel!" ~ However, though she does like listening, Sujin has a bad habit of geting distracted, so she may not exactly remember what was said. And even if she does take in all that is being said, she may not understand why it's a problem, exactly. She can be a little obtuse at times, and her optimism has a tendency to hide some negative things that most people would consider obvious. She also doesn't always think through her responses or reactions when people talk to her, but she never says anything negative, she'll just occasionally interupt when she shouldn't, or she'll be accidentally blunt in her advice. She prides herself on honesty, and will always tell things like they are.

 

"I don't get it. What's the problem?" ~ Sujin also has the unfortunate habit of leaping before she looks. She trusts her gut and follows her heart rather than her head, which can lead to some sticky situations. Again, nothing negative since she's naturally a good person, but she has caused some grief for the company such as when she started dating Yoondong quite openly within three weeks of getting together with him. Another habit of hers is blatantly shipping the STAR staff members, not quite understanding why this might not be such a good thing. She enjoys herself, though, and sicne it's not really hurting anyone, the staff mostly let her do as she pleases.

Background:
"Adventure is out there!" ~ Sujin's father passed away when she was still an infant, so her only memories are of her and her mother. Eun was a very protective parent, and with good reason. Little Sujin was quite the handful, always wandering off in search of what she called "adentures" to meet new people. She was always fine, but she'd often forget to inform an adult or other authority figure where she was going, and her mother would nearly have a heartattack trying to find her daughter. Sujin did eventually learn to report before heading out, but it took a few years.

"Music is in my blood!" ~ Sujin took an interest in music at a very young age. She saw a band on the street playing for tips, and she ended up getting the singer to give her voice lessons (her mother paid for them, of course). So every Wednesday from when she was 7 until she was 17, Sujin went over to her teacher's house and practiced for two hours. In this time she became good friends with her teacher's daughter, Rin. Rin was self-taught on the guitar, and when they were teenagers, the two girls decided to play on the streets like Rin's mother used to. They made quite a name for themselves at their corner, and it was through this that SM took interest in Sujin. At first Sujin rejected the offer because they didn't want Rin, but when the younger girl encouraged her to go for it, Sujin gave in and auditioned, getting in straight away.

Trainee life: Sujin was one of the very first trainees in STAR, so she got to know the staff very very well. She had a fast friendship especially with Taeri and Woobin, who she still spends time with outside of the studio quite often. She had started at SM, but the intense training and the lack of human interaction drove her to look for another company. She heard about STAR's opening from a fellow trainee, and she decided that the new company could be perfect for her. And she was not dissapointed. The family like atmosphere of STAR was exactly what Sujin had hoped for. She continued her training at her own pace, and since she was quite well trained already, in two years she was deemed ready for debut.

Personality:
Yoondong is a bit of a pessimist. He looks at the world in a very logical way, and he's not the most emotional person around. He follows his head over his heart and has the uncanny ability to disconnect himsel from the world around him. He doesn't generally concern himself with people, and a lot of his coworkers and classmates have started calling him "The Robot" behind his back. In reality, he does have feelings, he just organizes them in such a way that he only uses the ones that "serve a purpose". He's a very calm person, and it takes a lot to get him riled up. His ability to compartmentalize allows him to remain objective in almost all situations, and although he acts emotionless, it's this exact ability that allows him to understand people as well as he does.u

How you met:

Yoondong's little sister is a huge fan of Selene, so when the singer had her first solo concert in 2012, the 14 year old Yoona forced her brother to take her. 24 year old Yoondong was in the midst of finals at the time and he was not too happy about being interuppted, but he reluctantly agreed to take her. He got up at the intermission to use the restroom, but the line for the main one was ridiculous so he wandered off to find a different one. He ended up in a restricted corridor by complete accident, but the security guard who caught him wasn't listening to his excuses. Luckily for the confused man, Sujin had heard the commotion the guard was causing and came over to see what the trouble was. She ended up covering for Yoondong, dismissing the security guard. Yoondong was rather emarassed about the incident, but Sujin just laughed it off and sent him back to his seat with backstage passes for after the show. Yoona was insanely excited about her brother's aquisition and was already dragging him backstage only seconds after the show was done. Sujin and Yoona hit it off wonderfully, and the little girl was in heaven.

Yoondong didn't say much during the backstage tour, but when Sujin sent Yoona off with a backup dancer to see the practice studio, the two ended up alone together. Sujin asked point blank if he was single. Stunned, Yoondong could only nod mutely. She then proceeded to ask him out, again shocking the boy. They did end up swapping contact information, and after a few dates, Yoondong found that he actually really did like Sujin, so he asked her to be his girlfriend. She said no, but then, laughing, said that he could be her boyfriend if he liked. He accepted (albeit somewhat annoyed).

Interactions:

Yoondong has no idea why he's in love with Sujin. She's constantly poking fun at him and calling him an emotionless zombie, and she's always telling him to smile, which bugs him. To be fair, though, Sujin doesn't know why she's in love with Yoondong either. She's the sort of person who's always full of life and looking for the next big adventure, and he's stuck in his head, taking life logically and never taking uneccesary risks. However, they are undeniably in love, and either would easily admit to it. Though they do argue from time to time, they're mostly a completely stable couple, and they can talk to each other about anything and everything. Yoondong gladly listens to Sujin ramble on about nothing in particular, and she'll happily converse with him about his psychology class material (which she's sort of learning at the same time as him because he talks to her about it so much).

Scene suggestions/Requests:
~ Sujin and Hyrin go out shopping together with some of the trainees (and/or Soloist #3) for a 'girl's day out' to get new clothes and makeup. Hyrin is being her usual awkward-turtle self with the trainees, and when Sujin sees a cute little turtle plushy, she grabs it and says "Look Rinnie, it's you!"
~ Yoondong proposes to Sujin in a really big, romantic way, even though he's not totally comfortable with it because he wants to make her happy
~ Yoondong asking Sujin to properly move in with him, and her freaking out because she doens't know if her contract allows that
