LANGUAGES )  being blind, instead of reading random stuff and whatnot, it wasn't hard for yeonhee to pick up several languages. in fact, it was encouraged that she learnt more. it was extremely easy for her since she has a good memory.

APPEARANCE ) being blind comes with slightly lighter-coloured eyes. yeonhee's eyes are a beautiful mixture of dark and light brown, creating a dreamy, clouded brown. in the light, it looks a lot lighter and in a dimmer area, they appear darker. her hair is not quite short but not quite long, reaching halfway down her back. her height makes it appear a lot longer, though. with pleasant features and an amazing jaw, it's a shame that yeonhee can't actually tell how beautiful she is.

PERSONALITY )

moon yeonhee isn't really one to look on the bright side of things. she believes her disability is unimaginably horrible and that nothing else can quite compare to it. she hates positivity and does not really believe in hoping for things since, in her opinion, hope never wins. it just dies out. its like having a brightly-lit flame inside of you, determined to do anything you set your mind to, and then something ruins it and douses the flame completely, leaving you depressed and unable to continue with your life. to her, personally, it's best to expect the worst and be surprised with the best. you could be excited about a brand new day since it would bring new hope and a possibility for a better future, but yeonhee will completely drown out your high spirits with her gloomy personality, telling you that a better future does not exist. you're pretty much stuck with what you've got. not being able to see doesn't exactly help with things, either. in fact, it makes things a whole lot worse. her disability actually makes her believe that everyone else should be happy with what they got stuck with. you can't exactly live properly if you can't see, now can you? yeonhee has a tendency to over-exaggerate things. the littlest ant hills could turn into mount everest in her point of view. with her pessimisticness, dramatising is quite an easy thing. looking on the dull side of life actually brings out more drama than living brightly. yeonhee could be walking only three metres and then complain about how the world is injust and that she was not made for walking so far. being blind, she's learnt how to observe others using her other four senses. ok, maybe not taste, so the other three senses. touch, hear and smell. it's easy for yeonhee to tell if you're lying but being the not-exactly-open person she is, she wouldn't really tell anybody. she'll just nod her head and agree when her whole body itches to scratch your face and yell 'you're lying! stop lying you blowfish'. yeonhee's learnt that, if you actually mention beforehand that you're blind, you can sit comfortably and still observe everyone through ears else since they think you can't see what they're doing. with her heightened senses, she's able to easily understand emotions and moods and really get what you're feeling. her ears are so sharp that she's able to predict what you're going to do next just from your tone of voice. this trait goes hand-in-hand with intelligence. its not that hard to tell that people's tones of voice changes, but can you actually understand what the changes mean? if you've grown up without seeing, like yeonhee, you'd pick up a thing or two and using your brains, get what the change of tone means. her intelligent mind is quite big, seeing as one sense can't exactly work so the other four grew bigger than they're meant to. no, she is definitely not the smartest, but yeonhee has her own strengths regarding smart-stuff. so she can't really do equations at the top of her head. so what? she can do things that other smart people can't do. she can guess thoughts and understand emotions. not all smart people are mathematicians or english-poets, you know? people who are better in other things would still be categorised as smart. of course, being smart can bring on bad persuasion. or the wider-branch of it, known as advanced-calculation. yeonhee's ability to guess what people are thinking or about to do next makes her more prone to feeling like she can blackmail and change minds. if she, lets say, found out your crush. she could use that information to make you do what she wants you to do. she's an evil, blind mastermind who loves being in control of her surroundings. and heck, other people's surroundings as well. her brain is always ticking with possible things that she could do to get you to do. she'll always be one step ahead of you, being able to predict your next movement so she can counter-attack it with ease. luckily, yeonhee is a loyal person, so she wouldn't be cold and calculating towards you if she likes you. she'll stick by your side and doesn't go down without a fight. you never need to worry if you've got yeonhee as a friend.
