BtoB 10 Song Drabble/Ficlet Challenge

United State of Pop 2008: Viva La Pop - DJ Earworm (Ha...umm it's a random mix of the top songs of 2008)

Where am I?

I can’t see anything. It’s all dark.

I reach my hands out to try to feel something. Anything. But there’s nothing.

Everything’s so confusing. All the memories are jumbled up. The last thing I remember is celebrating the New Year’s at Hyunsik’s.

Then.

Nothing.

Just blank.

The music…it was so loud. Everything began to blur together. Song after song after song.

What happened?

I remember dancing. I remember smiling and laughing, then…Hyunisk’s face. Right before I passed out. But then what?

The punch! It was spiked!

No.

Where am I?

 

 

Heaven – Ailee 

I loved you. I always loved you. Why did you have to leave me? It’s been so painful without you. I thought I could survive without you Minhyuk, but every day that passes just becomes more and more unbearable.

The ghost of your touch still lingers on my skin. The feel of your soft caresses in my hair is still with me. You took care of me – of all of us – and now you’re gone.

Sungjae and Peniel haven’t stopped crying since the accident. Hyunsik writes songs in your names and Changsub’s singing has never been stronger, and Eunkwang. Well, Eunkwang still blames himself for everything.

As for me, I still miss you so much. Come back to me.

The Man Who Never Lied – Maroon 5

A raven-haired, pale boy stands in the pouring rain; seemingly not feeling anything, not caring that he was getting soaked to the bone. He just stood there and it was heart-breaking. His head hung down and it was hard to tell whether those were raindrops or tears dripping off his face.

A red-haired man slowly walked up to him and put his hands on his shoulders. Even through the roar of the downpour I could clearly hear him say to the poor boy.

“I could never leave you Sungjae. I love you too much. Just promise me you’ll never lie to me again.”

The boy called Sungjae snapped his head up and smiled through his tears.

 

 

 

Paris Holds the Key (To Your Heart)

“Can you believe it? Ahh! I can’t believe we’re finally in Paris!” the excited blonde skipped ahead of his group with Sungjae and Peniel marveling at everything and anything he set his eyes on.

The rest of Ilhoon’s band members just smiled and laughed at the maknae line acting five years younger than their age.

“Should we maybe try to stop them before they get lost?” Eunkwang was forever the worry-wart of a leader.

“Nah, they’ll be fine. It’s not like we get to come to Paris every day. Let them enjoy this little time before we have to start rehearsing again. Don’t forget. We’re here for a world tour, not vacation.”

“You’re right Changsub. I guess we’ll let them enjoy themselves for now.”

 

 

 

I Like It Like That – Hot Chelle Rae

“Go Hyunsik! Go Hyunsik! Go Hyunsik!”

The crowd gathered around the bar screamed the tipsy boy’s name over and over again encouraging him to continue his strip dance for the enjoyment of everyone who was watching.

A blonde haired boy just stood back in a corner of the room eyeing his friend with obvious envy. When he brought out Hyunsik to cheer him up he never expected Hyunsik to get absolutely -faced and begin dancing on top of the bar.

Finally having enough he stalked over and dragged Hyunsik down before he could completely strip off his pants.

“Okay, Hyunsik let’s get you home before pictures of you end up on the internet.”

“Aw but Ilhoonie you know you’re the only one who could ever see me like that.”

(Haha. Well...I guess we all know where that one's going.)

 

 

 

Amnesia – 5 Seconds of Summer

Tears dripped off his face and blurred his vision before splashing down on the photograph in his hands. With a heart-wrenching sob Minhyuk threw his head back on his bed and stared up at the ceiling where he found no further solace from his breaking heart.

It had only been a day since they broke up. Yet already Ilhoon had already found someone else. And it hurt so much. When Ilhoon left he thought it would hurt him just as much, if the tears and crying and yelling were any indication of how terrible he felt.

But no.

It was all an act. He left for another person. While Minhyuk was left to pick up the pieces of his own shattered heart and wish it was all just a dream. He wished it was just a horrible, terrible nightmare that he would wake up from eventually.

But he could never forget the pain that was so real.

 

 

 

쿠데타 – G-Dragon

The explosions were loud, but the clash of metal against metal and the screams of dying comrades were even louder in his ears. What was he thinking when he got himself involved in this suicide mission. This war was impossible, with no obvious winning side. Minhyuk hated himself for trying to rebel against a power he couldn’t even begin to understand.

Eunkwang ran as fast as he could for the nearest cover he could find. He whimpered as the ground where he was standing not seconds ago exploded in a cloud of dirt and blood and shrapnel. There was no escaping it. They were all going to die and everyone knew it. He only hoped his little brother Ilhoon would be safe. He had sacrificed everything for him. He looked around at his troop.

“Okay. Let’s do this.”

 

 

 

Dogg’s Out – Topp Dogg

With a loud roar ripping from his throat Eunkwang launched himself over the barricade without a moment’s hesitation. He was soon followed by six other sleek bodies covered with varying colors of fur. He ran as fast and pushed himself as hard as he could. The house was already in sight but he didn’t think he’d make it. He wasn’t the fastest nor the strongest. It just wasn’t fair.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw the first of the other six begin to overtake him. He pushed himself one last time determined to be the first one in the door.

He didn’t want to be the last one to eat dinner again today.

At the last stretch he stumbled and rolled in the dirt. He slowly stood and transformed back into human form that was all gangly limbs and pouted at his other members.

“Not fair! I never get to eat first!”

(Werewolves anyone?)

 

 

 

Not a Bad Thing – Justin Timberlake

Changsub grinned his cheeky grin and tried not to hide just how happy he was. He knew he’d won this time and he wasn’t about to let the younger get away with his prize.

“Come on, it can’t be that bad can it?” Hyunsik just blushed even pinker and turned away.

Changsub stepped back and pouted. Hyunsik owed him a date and he knew it. It was just too damn bad that the cute boy with the extremely adorable eyesmile he’d been crushing on for weeks was so shy that he couldn’t even look him in the eye.

Giving up on waiting Changsub grabbed the object of his affection by the wrist and dragged him into the coffee shop they had been standing outside of for the better part of the day.

Hyunsik immediately turned cherry red and opened his mouth to protest.

“H-hyung!” he only received a mischievous grin from Changsub in return to his protestations.

“I don’t care if you can’t speak to me or even look at me but I am getting this coffee date!”

Hyunsik could only blush again and look down at his shoes as he stood in line behind the older boy.

He guessed one coffee couldn’t be such a bad thing.

 

 

Pretty Girls – Iyaz

“Come on Sungjae! You know I only love you!”

“Try telling that to the girl you were flirting with!”

“I wasn’t flirting with her! I just-argghhh! Why won’t you listen to me?” Peniel was so close to ripping his hair out in frustration. Sungjae had been arguing with him for the last half hour, but he hadn’t even bothered to try listening to him.

They had gone out for Peniel’s birthday and had ended up at one of the hottest clubs in town. As soon as they stepped inside though they got separated, and while Peniel had tried to find Sungjae again he got really caught off guard.

A really pretty girl with way too much makeup and not nearly enough clothing had sidled up to Peniel and had started flirting with him using her hands way  too much. Peniel had been in the process of extracting himself from her hands stuttering in broken Korean the entire time when Sungjae had found him again.

And what a time to show up.

“Sungjae! Please! I didn’t even know her!”
