*is in the middle of sketching the graph to make sure it coincides with equation--*

Me:

Friend 2: 
Can u explain to me why these two are different when really they're just the same? 
*inserts photo of an equation with square roots and fractions* 

Me: Oh... o-okay... 
*writes out long explanation, involving why when a denominator is a 0 it become undefined
which is a no-no* 
*continues to do the previous equation* 

Friend 3/Roommate: 
*comes to me* 
Can you tell me what's a slope? Why does it say 1/4 of slope AB? 
And how do I know the equation of BC? 
Also... have you done that equation on piecewise I sent you?

Me:

Friend 2: Why is there no sign table for d but there is one in d? 
And so its a real number thats NOT negative?? 

Friend 1: 
Why is p = 2? Shouldn't p be 1/2 because 4p=2???
Also... can you help me with b) (i) (ii)

Friend 3/Roommate: 
Do I try do that whole perpendicular thingy where the product of both lines are -1?
