Just when I thought things were getting better. Poor Jessica

Wow, so remember when I said that SNSD and SHINee were the only groups in SM that didn't seem to have any problems?

I've been proven wrong.

At first, I thought it was a hack. I thought, "SM isn't stupid enough to drop one of SNSD's members. SNSD is like the number one girl group. They can't be this stupid."

They proved me wrong too.

Where in the deep depths of their minds did they think that dropping a member of the number one girl group in Korea was a good idea. What's worse, and what I hadn't expected at all, was that this isn't just SM's fault. This is the fault of the other SNSD members as well.

According to Jessica's most recent post, a month after starting her business, the rest of SNSD told her that she had to choose between her business, and SNSD. If she wanted to stay in SNSD, she had to leave the business. Obviously, because she had already signed a contract, and SM had already given her permission to do this, she couldn't just break her contract and give up on her business. Honestly, this is truly shameful, and I'm disappointed in the rest of SNSD. Bash me if you want, but I'd expect them to handle this in a more mature way, as well as in a way that didn't result in the loss of a member. I wonder if they've realized that Jessica isn't the one that looks bad here. It's them. After Jessica posted that statement, it's the other members of SNSD that look like total jerks.

They make it seem as if her starting a business is going to directly affect SNSD. If anything, it might bring them more popularity in my opinion. Jessica has already told us her side of the story, and everyone knows that she puts SNSD before herself. So why would they think that just because she has a business now, that she's just going to neglect SNSD. Why is it so bad that she wants to do something for herself when her whole life is based on entertaining and giving her time away to please others.

I do believe what SM said about planning how to manage the schedule for all of them girls, but clearly it didn't work out well enough. Allkpop says that the posts are contractory, but are they really? SM is saying that they tried to work around Jessica's schedule and they couldn't. The one thing that I don't believe is that Jessica chose to hault her promotions with SNSD. That's some major bull. Jessica's post said that she did talk with SM, and that they were trying to fit the schedules, and she thought it was fine, but clearly it wasn't fine.

Honestly, SNSD isn't one of my favorite girl groups. They never have been, but that's simply because I'm not a huge fan of girl groups in general, and I'm very picky with what groups I listen to, but I still like SNSD. I've listened to a lot of their songs, and I do think they are really good.

Don't think that I'm trying to bash SNSD or SM with this post, because I'm not. I'm just disapointed in both of them, for so heartlessly leaving behind a member who clearly values SNSD more than anything. It was unreasonable for the SNSD member to ask for Jessica to quit her business, and it was unreasonable for SM to give her no clear warning that this would happen. It's all so ed up, it's really sad.

Why is it so bad that she wants to do one thing for herself? Shouldn't she be allowed to have this one thing? And no, don't go saying, "Oh its because SM are slave drivers and ignore basic human rights." Cut the , this isn't preschool. If you want to be an SM hater you're going to have to give me a bit more evidence of their abuse towards their idols, because a few people leaving the company doesn't cut it for me. We both know that this isn't solely SM's fault. The rest of the SNSD members are just as guilty, if not more so in this. I honestly expected more from them.

I'm praying for Jessica, and I hope everything turns out all right for her, because she deserves better than this.

I would like to know the other members side but it might be the case that we might not know the entire story...

I'm really upset and sad to the whole thing........... I also think that it doesn't make sense somewhere... I heard Jessica only got kicked out of the group but she's still under the company. Ugh the whole thing confuses me.
