blending?

since my blending seemed kind of crappy to me, i wanted to see if there's a veteran graphic artist out there, who can judge me on this blend. like is it okay enough or a fine blend? i followed some instructions from MusicChibi's InDesign: Building Your Foundation, about Blending, and i ended up with this. im pretty much of a perfectionist with stuff plus i like hearing criticisms so i can work harder on what i need to improve. soo yeah tell me if it's okay!

oh and here's the final outcome of it, pretty simple poster:

I'm not a graphic artist and I don't know if I even have an ounce of a right to put a comment on this, but I do think that the poster is fine as it is. It has a dark and dangerous feel to it, and I think it suits the title well. If I were a reader to that fic, I'd definitely admire the poster. ^^

I think it's okay but I suggest you avoid blending pictures with a light background on a dark canvas.
