I only read chanbaek fics. But yeah ofc i already read some other ship fics but yeah mostly chanbaek, baekyeol, and breakfast couple. I once accidentally read a fic with all the ships bc i thought it was just chanbaek, and meh, too much information in one chapter. The author cant even focus on one couple at a chappy. So it .

xiuhan has always been around though, even if people say hunhan was always the dominant ship during mama era. hunhan is just an AFF tradition tbh - i mean, sure there are lots of fics on LJ and lots of ship blogs on tumblr, but AFF is the only place that ships them this hard. it's come to a point where people just don't want to accept another ship besides them. almost like they've become a little overprotective? AFF has a narrow-minded community for the most part :c but i mean let's be real: no one can deny the fact that in china, minseok depended on luhan for translations and in korea, vice versa. they still do that! minseok is always luhan's go-to person. and plus they're the same age so it's only obvious they'd have a lot of things they can relate to each other with. they're really close + they lean on each other for help all the time and if that's not obvious, then i don't know what is. i think people just have a hard time breaking out of tradition. i mean, i still write a little bit of hunhan here and there when i feel they fit the characters in my plot, but i've actually written more xiuhan than hunhan. they're just hard to ignore :')

Even though sulay was put together by that it has become a popular ship so in a way they are acknowledging exo. I'm a sulay shipper myself because they are adorable together. And those six pairings you said are the main otps no matter what xD
