LOYAL: Hyemi is both a loyal friend as well as a loyal spy, looking out for her teammates, whether or not she likes them. She will fight alongside anyone when instructed to do so and due to her loyalty to her teachers and mentors, she will do almost anything they ask of her with the exception of killing a fellow spy unless they go rogue and turn against her and the school (in this case, they are no longer a fellow spy OR a friend but are traitors). As a loyal friend, she is unable to wait and listen to any insults (discreet or not) about the people she is close to. To avenge them, she plays pranks on the people who hurt her friends, making their lives miserable.

FUNNY: Hyemi is known as  Shadow and she is always successful when pranking someone; noone but her friends (the closer ones) and the mentors know that the pranks are pulled through by her since she leaves a small note saying 'My best regards, The Ice Princess' every time which makes everyone eager to know who she is. Furthermore, Hyemi loves having fun and tries her best to keep her closest friends smiling. However, due to her shy nature, noone but the mentors and her friends could even think of Hyemi as the true identity of the 'Ice Princess'.

HARDWORKING: Some of the reasons for her somewhat distant personality are the facts that Hyemi is actually a natural-born hunter as well as a cold killer, her heart somewhat unaffected by any deaths she brings about although her task is more of an infiltrator than a killer. Since she was young she always tried hard to become a spy her mentors would be proud of and she always goes out in the morning 2 hours before breakfast to train herself even further as well as shooting practice. In lessons, Hyemi does her genuine best to succeed and exceed, proving that she is actually a gifted student as well as a special and reliable spy.

STRONG (IN CHARACTER, MIND AND BODY): Behind her distant, shy personality is a stronger character that she only brings out when necessary, to prove to others that she is not 'just a child'. This strong personality helps her get through school life as well as  everything life throws at her. She also practices hard to make sure her body is functioning at its best, eating anything she knows will be healthy for her, even if she really dislikes it (especially vegetables). She is a strong young woman, sticking to her decisions till the very end or until she is certain that it will result in more casualties than can be avoided.

SHY: Hyemi is quite shy and tends to be very bad at making friends. Her appearance may be sweet as well as her attitude to her friends, but she often seems cold and dismissive (due to the nerves), making people uncomfortable around her. Thus, she has few friends but as they understand her, they are very close. When Hyemi overcomes her shyness, she is more outgoing, speaking up for her friends and herself, speaking coldly, just like an 'Ice Princess'.

SHORT TEMPERED: Hyemi actually has a short temper which comes about in the form of her turning into the Ice Princess, a cool, cruel and terrifying side of he. When being teased, she tends to glare at a person before smiling cruelly and stating things she can do to them (e.g. breaking their bones, shooting them straight between the eyes) as well as hinting at some top-secret information about the person that even the school might not be aware of, threatening to spill the beans. Hyemi, being shy, is never suspected by her peers as being short tempered and firey but whenever annoyed, she snaps.

PICKING FIGHTS: When she is annoyed beyond simply turning to her 'Ice Princess' self, she will  ask whoever it is to meet her at the gym or in the courtyard before asking them to try and hit her; due to her speed, it is rare that a hit comes anywhere near her. Also, since she trains her body every day AND has learnt a lot from Karate and Judo, she is extremely strong and has excellent reflexes. These fights tend to be with people who go beyond just teasing her and she believes that since they picked the wrong girl to annoy, they would have to deal with the consequences.

COLD + DISMISSIVE: Hyemi is excellent for her poker face and cold personality. She turns from a shy, quiet girl to an impassive and frightening woman within seconds. Especially when teased or made fun of, Hyemi's colder personality comes in the form of threats (that come easily to her from both experience and reality: since most of the threats could very possibly come true). She is also blunt, turning her natural honesty into a weapon against whoever her target or victim is. After the threats she tends to smile sweetly (with a dangerous edge to it) and dismiss people with words such as: 'So I don't think we'll be hearing much from you about me again, right?'

What is the reason your character want to join in on the mission :

Tha mafia destroyed her family and her life. Her father was once part of SCORPIA mafia and he killed her mother and attempted to kill her. When he didn't succeed, he ran away, running from both the mafia and the police; he was hunted down by the mafia for running from them and killed. Hyemi wants to avenge her mother (more than her father) and hopes that after the mission, she will never have to see the mafia again.

Strengths :

Stealth is Hyemi's main strength as she is very good at blending into the surroundings and keeping herself hidden. She can sneak around well, barely making a sound and managing to move quickly and efficiently. She is also quite fast, which she uses when escape is required as well as in a fight - as she is quite a small person, even for a girl, she isn't that strong so she uses her agility to her advantag, dodging and blocking before quickly making her move. Due to being quite weak, Hyemi decided to work hard to learn Judo as it taught her how to use her strengths (agility) as her offence while letting her opponent tire themselves out (the thory of 'softness controls hardness'). In the beginning Hyemi was behind in it similar to her with the other martial arts but with the help of Yoona, an older student, she began to excel in it. With shooting, Hyemi seemed to have an excellent aim from the start of the training and regularly began practicing shooting.

Weaknesses :

She is clumsy when it comes to hacking and IT based infiltration so she always has a backup (normally Sooyoung) who will infiltrate computers while she gets keys and other information. Despite being able to shoot with a gun to quite a good standard, Hyemi is terribl at archery since she simply can't get a grasp on the whole idea; she doesn't understand how much power to use and she gets frustrated over focusing on both the aim and the power (she always says that 'shooting is straightforward'). Hyemi is quite small, even in the standards of a young girl and is very weak; this meant that she is behind in most of the martial arts and self defence lessons (other than those similar to Judo which have the principal of: soft controls hardness).

Background : 

Hyemi is the second child, and only daughter, of the Japanese actress Sakurai Yuri and the Korean director, Jeon Hong Ki (ex-mafia/ traitor of SCORPIA mafia). Since birth, her father hated her for being female, instead of one of the many male heirs he had wanted, ignoring her and focusing primarily on her older brother, Kaito. However, Hong Ki was mentally unstable due to his past with the mafia. One day, he finally snapped, beating his wife for giving him a daughter instead of the male heir he had wanted, to the extent that she had to be hospitalised and died due to her injuried. Hyemi and her brother were left alone for two weeks, living with their neighbours since their father had gone missing. One night, Hong Ki broke into the house and took Hyemi, attempting to drown her in the nieghbour's swimming pool. The neighbour noticed and saved Hyemi's life as her father disappeared again, for good this time. Hyemi and Kaito were put in an orphanage (since their father's family were all dead and they only had their elderly grandmother on their mother's side who couldn't look after them due to being hospitalised) where, one year later, they were both informed that their father had been hunted down and killed by the mafia. Their grandmother also died that year and her brother was adopted.

In the orphanage, Hyemi was friendly and extremely talented at pranking everyone. She also had a natural talent for climbing trees, sports and was teased by the other girls for 'acting like a boy'. Hyemi, however, enjoyed what she did and slowly became better and better at pulling hre pranks, going as far as tracing the pranks back to other people, so that noone knew who it was. ShinSang representitives, who were looking around the orphanage, came across her pulling a successful prank on a girl who had been bullying her, observing how she moved around the place, acted innocence and how she got away with the whole incident by removing traces that led to her and making false accusations and traces.

After passing the exams for the Boarding School, Hyemi began to work hard to get the respect of her fellow peers as well as her mentors and teachers, training herself when she has free time, both mind and body, slowly overcoming her childhood clumsiness.  She also met Lee Miseul and befriended her, looking up to her as a fellow peer as well as seeing her as an inspiration. She was naturally a good aim but she was terrible when it came to martial arts. Yoona, an older student offered to teach her how to use her body build to her advantage in a fight, and with these lessons, Hyemi began to excel. in Judo. Archery never grew on Hyemi but shooting was always favoured by her (e.g. when asked to choose a weapon from a given set, she would go for the gun).

Personality :

Myungsoo is known for his rough, cold personality, being the Mafia's Ice Prince. He is also a very good friend of the next heir, Sunggyu. He is sarcastic and cold, giving some of the other mafia chills due to his frosty, cruel behaviour. He is a born killer, killing without flinching or expression. His cruel personality causes his seniors to respect him and he is also a bit like a brother to Sunggyu (another son for the head although he isn't considered a true heir).

Myungsoo is also known for playing with women he finds, breaking their hearts since he leaves before morning to go back 'home' to Scorpia HQ. He also has a terribly short temper, pulling out his gun instantly and pressing it against the person who is irking him at the time, saying slowly and emotionlessly: 'I dare you to say that again...' or 'Let's see if you have the guts to do that again...' Myungsoo's ruthlessness makes him one of the most feared and respected of SCORPIA, ranking as Sunggyu's 'brother' as well as 'the second son of SCORPIA'.

Myungsoo seals away a part of himself that only Sunggyu has seen - his hyper, childish side. He is the one who secretly pranks his seniors along with Sunggyu (e.g. injecting bananas with vinegar and dissolving salt in tea). He is also the one who goes to Sunggyu, childishly complaining about random, childish things (the example above, about chocolate cake) as well as loving to pretend to do 'Rasengan' (from Naruto) and whacking Sunggyu with the pretend 'Rasengan'. Around Hyemi, he slowly opens himself up to her (in the beginning), finding himself attached to the strange, somewhat suspicious young girl; although he doesn't like the feeling of attachment (mainly out of fear of losing someone close to him) he enjoys  Hyemi's company and becomes attached with her in the sense that he can't get her off my mind even though he is completely set on seeing her as his enemy after they both find out about each other's occupations.

Background :

Myungsoo came from a broken family where his father was abusing his mother and older brother. When his older brother left, Myungsoo decided to run away as well (at the age of 7). While running away, he decided to go against what his mother said and 'become free' by going into the place his mother warned him about - in fact, it was SCORPIA HQ, and Myungsoo was caught by 2 men who took him to the head. The head decided that Myungsoo's punishment for trespassing was either death or that he joined SCORPIA; afraid for his life, Myungsoo chose SCORPIA, practically signing himself off to the devils.

As he grew up with the head's son, Sunggyu, the boys became friends, understanding each other like brothers. Myungsoo was told that his father was now in jail and his mother was married to her childhood friend. He began to shoot for the fun, using targets set up by the mafia. Learning 4-5 martial arts became more of a hobby to Myungsoo rather than a task or a skill and he thoroughly enjoyed the power he had in those lessons.

After graduating from high school, Myungsoo got a tattoo on his bicep saying 'Protect your honour', where he met a 14 year old Hyemi. After that, he saw Hyemi again when she was 16, at a manga store, reading a copy of the manga he was about to buy and decided to talk to her. They were friendly to each other and when Myungsoo was about to charm her into falling for him and going out with her for the night when she told him that she had to get home now. He found out what she meant by 'home' another 2 years later: while on the mission, Hyemi bumps into Myungsoo while being chased by SCORPIA members. Myungsoo hides her and demands her: 'What the hell do you think you're doing here?' And she replies with a feeble: 'You?! You're from SCORPIA?!' before running away from him after kicking him in the shin. Afterwards, he looks through different databases before going as far as following Hyemi to find out successfully who she is - a Shinsang Spy.

There are a series of events where the two meet again, reluctant to acknowledge each other in any way other than as enemies but afterwards, a frustrated Myungsoo overhears the elders in SCORPIA discussing the death of Myungsoo's family as his father had been supposed to supply them with improved weapons and explosives but had refused to hand his research over. Despite being the one who ran from his family, he doesn't want any of them to be hurt. He seeks Hyemi's help and when found as a traitor by SCORPIA, he runs to ShinSang High School.

Interactions :

The first two times that they met, the two of them got on extremely well, Myungsoo even attempting to flirt with her but after finding out that they're on opposite sides they push their curiosity to the side and focus on the battle in front of them. Hyemi, however, who had never forgotten Myungsoo, was heartbroken because she had always had a crush on him since they first met. Myungsoo was frustrated that the interesting girl he'd first met just 4 years earlier was a Shinsang spy.

Myungsoo was nice to Hyemi when they first met as he was curious about her and over the 4 years that they saw each other randomly, he began considering her as a friend. He began loosening up around her and began telling her about himself. When he finds out that she is a ShinSang spy, he is shocked and hurt, believing that she was toying with him from the very beginning. This causes him to lock her out again, turning her into his enemy; he becomes colder and crueller, practically bullying her whenever they meet, despite the guilt he feels (which he tries not to acknowledge). However, he realises that he is still attached to her emotionally - as a friend and nothing more, he reminds himself constanty - and becomes irritable and frustrated as a character. When he learns of SCORPIA's plans for his family, his immediate reaction to the betrayal he feels of SCORPIA is to go to Hyemi for her help. He is apologetic to her and tries to be nicer to her for the sake of their fragile relationship (due to the fact that they were enemies). Slowly, after she begins to forgive him, he starts reverting back to his normal personality (cold and sarcastic), insulting her from time to time without realising it (e.g. calling her Chibi) but she soon gets used to his attitude. As he falls in love with her, Myungsoo becomes colder and tries to joke the feelings away, which also insults her, but not wanting to upset her, he apologises and confesses. When they are 'together' as a couple, Myungsoo is a bit awkward as 'sweet' and 'lovey dovey' don't come naturally to either of them but there are times when he is accustomed to the idea of commitment in a relationship. They even fight from time to time and Hyemi always apologises first due to her fear of losing him - both as a boyfriend and as a friend.

Hyemi was shy when she first met Myungsoo and was delighted that he was not afraid of how she seemed distand and cold. They became closer and she developed feelings (which she believed to be a crush) towards him. When she found out he was part of SCORPIA, she was hurt and felt betrayed, taking this out on him when they met, speaking coldly and cruelly. However, she was always depressed over the fact that he was once her friend and shehad lost his friendship as well as the fact that in the days that they saw each other as enemies, they were both cruel to eachother, arguing and fighting often.Although she is annoyed and frustrated towards him, she agrees to help him save his family as she understands how important they are to him - especially since she is an orphan. When he is deemed a traitor and seeks refuge in Shinsang, she ignores him to the point that she avoids going to the places where he is; this is mainly due to how hurt and ashamed she is of what happened when they were classified as enemies. However, unable to hide her feelings from him for too long, she begins to soften up, forgiving him. However, when he tries to push her away again, she is hurt, often yelling at him and/or ignoring him again. When he confesses his feelings, she is delighted and accepts the offer although she, too, is extremely awkward when it comes to love and the whole aspect of being 'together' with someone. When they argue, she is less agressive (in a physical sense) but is more harsh (as in her choice of words) and she is also the one to apologise first.

They talk to each other often when they see each other and now, both run a training session for the younger students where Hyemi looks after the youngest and less experienced while Yoona takes care of the older and more advanced students.

Rival (childhood) / Yujin (Uee) / 24 / Uee always hated how much respect and love Hyemi had around the school and sought out to destroy her happiness, but somehow, Hyemi was always one step ahead of Uee.

The small details : A butterfly tattoo on the inside of her right wrist and 'Embrace Your Dreams' tattooed on the inside of her left wrist. There's also a trail of butterflies tattooed to her spine, running from between her shoulder blades to the small os her back.

Style : 

GENERAL + MISSION STYLE (IN THE FIELD): To describe her style in one word, 'cute' would be what is used; she tends to wear cute dress, preferably with sweetheart necklines (1 + 2). She also wears skirts (usually tiered or assymetrical) with trendy yet comfortable off-shoulder shirts; she tends to wear these shirts with pairs of jeans and  jeggings as well (3, 4 + 5). She also wears other similarly 'trendy but comfy' shirts such as 6, 7 + 8. Materials that she tends to wear are cotton and chiffon. For shoes she wears boots (9), sneakers (10) and wedge heels (11) - she also owns a pair of wedge sneakers (12).  Generally, the cute image fits her image best and is one of her strongest points as a seductress. However, darker styles (e.g. leather) also suit her (13 + 14).  Myungsoo also bought this dress for her because he believes it suits her (15) but even though it suits her, her general style actually follows this style (16).

MAKEUP STYLE: Makeup-wise, she uses things similar to Kwong Su Jeong - nothing too much! The eye shadows she use tend to be warm, natural colours (e.g. soft peach, light brown) and the lipgloss she uses also has natural colours (e.g. soft pink, light peach).

MISSION/INFILTRATION STYLE: Here, Hyemi tends to wear dark, body-suit type clothing - tight to the body, but comfortable and easy to move in, similar to Black Widow from Avengers movie and Storm from X-Men the movie  (17 + 18).

Commentary :  (EDITED) I changed her personality quite a lot and her skills list has changed as well; also, I changed the interactions and although it's really long it is mainly their feelings and how they interact in the different stages of their relationship (I only added a teenie bit which you can get rid of: SCORPIA's plans for Myungsoo's family, because it was the only thing that I could think of that would possibly make him go against SCORPIA in any way...but you can change this! ) If there's any thing else, just tell me, okay?
