Featured Stories

Okay so this is kind of a rant. Keep in mind that I'm not bashing on anyone in particular. 

So you know how when you are one the home page and there's a bunch of featured stories? Well it bugs me that they are always either girlxboy, you, or really y stories. Like I don't come on this site to read straight/crappy fanfiction. And I understand how girlxgirl stories can get popular because they appeal to specific audiences, but why do all the featured stories have to be that way?

Also I have read some stories about some of my favorite pairings expecting them to be good (since they have tons of votes/comments/views), but they aren't. Does the majority of the users on this site not have any taste in writing style. And yeah some people are gonna think I'm being a jerk and think "well you don't have to read it" or "maybe you just have bad taste". I'm just upset that when I try to find writing that I like, it's EXTREMELY difficult.

Not really sure how I came across this blog but, you are totally right. Like, you're telling me stories with titles and plot lines such as, "My Boyfriend is Kim Jongin", get featured but stories like Open Arms (KyungsooxOC) don't? Ugh. I feel like the majority of people on this site are f***ing potato heads.

the kpop fandom is literally the only fandom ive seen that actually likes self-insert stories and i dont get why. theyre so creepy. i hate when role plays get featured or advertised as well.
and i hate stories where a bunch of its in bastardized korean ('neh umma' 'saranghae hyung' that kinda stuff). im not too opposed to ones where they just use the honorifics sometimes, but theres so many where the majority of the writing isnt even in english.

Other than that, most of the plots are too cliche

True dat yo. Just gotta read the rated m features those are always a thousand times better and not just cuz they're rated m
