Some Drawings ;)
Hey guys! I actually filmed some of my drawings the day before yesterday and I totally forgot it because I went to the amusement park with friends yesterday (it was a loooot fun, but I was also reminded of how weak my constitution is, orz.). So now I remembered and I'm here to quickly share it with you because tomorrow I'll be in Paris until Wednesday with my family. (
And also I wanted to thank you guys for all the understanding comments and messages regarding the thrown away folder (and piano problem) and I wanted to conclude that blog post by saying that firstly the piano is relatively okay again (except for one or two keys sounding a little off) so I'm positive about the piano, plus I have learned two songs halfway *proud* and as for the folder ... well, it's not just going to be okay now that I've talked about it, but I try not to think about it too much and that makes it easier. It's gone and that's really really sad and I will always be sad when thinking about that, but I at least got to see it once before it was lost and I made a diary entry writing down what I still remember about the folder and all to keep the memory intact.
Coming to the video now, first of all, ignore how jazzed I was, it was the last school day XD I feel like half of the video I am talking crap.
As for the messages of the drawings, now that I have calmed down I can say a lot more serious things:
The drawing with the mermaid is supposed to be a little macabre and tragic. I wanted to show humans kind of constrain beautiful things, such as the mermaid here -- it's a metaphor, you see? (LOL I feel like Augustus Waters saying this)
The drawing of the the angel is as I said some kind of criticism towards society and the angel is really sad and disappointed seeing how humans have developed.
The drawing with the huge flower is basically what I said in the video. Humans always destroy nature even if they don't intend to do that. Just by existing they destroy.
The nymph (yes, actually a nymph not a fairy, I couldn't think of the word at the time) is probably the only one without message. I just wanted to draw (or more like paint) a beautiful nymph.
And the last one is: humans and nature can be one. They can and they are supposed to be that. Thus the mix of humans and trees. ;)
