Some would wonder if Dahyun is actually listeing to the things they're telling her or if she's zoning out. She walks around with a distant smile on her face, always drifting off into her little world. She's bubbly and never seems to take anything seriously, throwing her head back laughing whether the joke was funny or not. At first glance you would expect her to be calm and gentle not gentle and a social butterfly. Her detached attitude during her everyday life and the fact she can't ever concentrate don't seem like the traits of a top kpop star. She's never had an affinity for studies or anything else. she wo't work hard and concentrate unless she's doing something she likes.
However everything changes when she gets on stage. The playful sparkle in her eyes swap for one of concentration and detrmination. She's hard working and passionate; singing is all she's ever had. She wathes over her members as well as working on improving herself, she's meticulous and watches over everyone, pointing out what to do and correcting them if they go wrong. She always had so much pressure on her to become as great as them and always tried to study hard for them but she realised she couldn't have cared less about physics and georaphy and whatever else they tortured her with. Her middle school music teacher introduced her to singing and she fell in love with it. She'd always expressed her desire to be a singer but her parents wouldn't listen to her, telling her to focus on her studies. She learnt guitar from her teacher after school instead of joining clubs and the only school subject she'd ever been good at was English, she found a love for composing her own songs. On a trip back to Seoul to visit her grandparents, she snuck away and auditioned behind her family's back, When she got accepted, they were really against it but she insisted this is what she wanted to do and threatened to run away. Her parents let her become a trainee - where she met Sehun - because they thought, "she'd come to her senses soon." Even to this day they're strongly against it, even going as far as sending her brochures for colleges and medical schools through the mail. FIRST MEETING — Baekhyun introduced them before she debuted because she wanted help with dance and Baek thought Sehun would help more. Sehun thought she was so pure and had the sudden urge to protect her and her piery passion for singing, he doesn't want it to be tainted by what will come after she debuts.

RELATIONSHIP — Dahyun wasn't very good at dancing at first but Sehun helped her be decent. He was very awkward a first but since she's sociable, she managed to get him to loosen up. After that, they kept in touch and he helped her whenever he could and they had a sort of sunbae-hoobae relationship, if she ever needed help or if she was upset she would call him and he would come running to her. He saw her as someone different because most people in the industry would only be in it for the fame but she had so much talent and passion for singing, he wanted to protect it so she doesn't come to resent it one day like he does. They like messing around and he has a thing for teasing her no matter how many times she tells him to stop and hits him, but most of all they're there for each other to support and cheer the other up when things get hard. When the incident happened between her parents and her, he was with her through the whole night and comforted her.
