Just go on. like you said we all take different paths, but that's because everyone has their own path. We all do something that makes us different from the others and nothing we do is incorrect. For everything we do is meant to be and there's a reason why we did it.
And yes there will be disagreements because not everything you do will make everyone happy. It's a shame that we can't have everyone happy but that's life. So just walk down the path.
