I know many of you want me to update my fics but please understand that I'm not really emotionally stable and clear headed to do so. I'm going through some drama in my life and I really can't find the drive to update them admist all these. Sorry. I would update them soon but not now. I need to do something to keep me in reality's check - something non-fiction so please bare with me here. You may not agree with my analysis as I'm no psychologist  but please respect my opinion.

This is not a biased point of view, it's a neutral POV.

I'm not saying who's right or wrong nor am I trying to change your minds.

I'm just stating my observation.

I really like observing people and making silent conclusions about them- thinking what caused their behaviour and actions.

EXO's recent conflict, Kris scandal , Tao's injury. 

These are all incidents that I've been watching and thinking about silently; everyday when I log onto tumblr or WeiBo, I see heaps ( okay that'll be an understatement ) tonnes more like it of hate comments , bashing Kris , bashing OT12 , bashing Ot11. It pains me when I see many fans misunderstanding the members. Okay this is going to sound stalkerish and creepy but I really like observing and studying the members as they intrigue me- all of them are different. Really different. There are no 2 members which are similar.

Why did I decide to do this?

Simple. I want to stop this drama. Due to the recent "scandal" with Kris leaving the group and all the rude hate comments coming in, I decided to write my analysis about him first although I wanted to do it in chronological order.

Kris is the most misunderstood member in the group and it's a pity that many failed to see it.

If I were to describe Kris as an object, I would describe him as a narrow glass bottle filled with marbles.

If I were to describe Kris as an animal, he would be a wolf ( No pun intended ).

If I were to ascribe a cartoon character to him , it would be Jug Head from the Archie series.

Kris's character in My Mother's love: Her secret is completely based on my observations on him. He;s not a fiction of my imagination or anything. He;s the true Kris that I see and read in my mind. He's my most favourite character and that;s not going to change.

Why?

Kris is the most complex person in the whole of EXO but at the same time, he's the most innocent and pure- almost like a child.

There are many things that amalgamated to his current state- his behaviour , his mannerism , his expression.

Kris, he had a rough childhood. It's really easy to tell when he refused to use his real name- Kevin Li Jia Heng as his stage name. He asked his company to give him a completely different stage name, he refused to maintain his surname as his stage name.

As many may know or not know, Chinese, their descendents usually take the father's surname. 

This was the first straw. 

He wanted a completely new start when starting his career, he wanted a fresh new page to write his story, away from his childhood. Kris , he doesn't seems to have a father and his mother is the only kin he has ( There had been rumours of him having a step father and a step brother but I'm not going to say anything as we don't know the truth.). His mother is like the sun, she revolves around him and Kris is like the earth; without the sun, the earth- he can't survive and vice versa. Their relationship would be one that I would describe as beautiful. 

Mutualism would be a close biological term that I would deem their relationship to be as they both rely heavily on one another.

Kris, he's hardened by life's experience that hit him at a very young age, he's forced to mature early and is unravelled to the harsh conspicuous truth of the world when he;s just a young child.  He's forced to take on responsibilities a child should not have and this lead to his current state. 

Kris , he's not one that enjoy's physical affection - skinship . He doesn't like long hugs, kisses or cheeky but nonchalant pats on the butts ( a culture that's very common in S.Korea) . I don't know the root cause to these but I can tell that he lacked physical affections or displays of love when he was younger hence the awkwardness when s does it to him.

But Kris is slowly opening up, compare their debut period to showtime period, there's a vast difference. 

He slowly getting used to these physical affection of love and is changing slowly, time as a witness and a factor would prove this.

Kris is selfless.

I've seen this many times- from fan cams, videos , live etc. He truly cares for s from the bottom and most deepest depths of his pure heart.

Like a filled glass bottle with marbles, you can put marbles in but you can't take marbles out. 

Kris is exactly like that. 

He's the kind that would take the rap for something that he hadn't done to protect his loved ones. 

He's the kind that's childish at heart , free-spirited , care-free.

He's the kind that would keep everything to himself and not want to worry the members with his problems; however, he would be there when s have a problem. He would be there for them, by their sides, without fail, advising them and giving them moral, spiritual and emotional support. His harsh childhood had him experienced the pain and agony of solving a problem alone- he knows the acrimony , the pain , the loneliness. He knows how it feels hence he wants to connect with them and be there for them- he wants to be the special someone beside them when they run into a problem. 

Kris doesn't tell s a lot about his past- he doesn't trust them enough to do so.

They are close, but they are not close to the point where they know what happened to his family , his childhood. s cannot connect with him on such an in-depth level yet hence trust is compromised. But you can't blame him, Kris is insecure and has trust issues.

It's no surprise that s had no idea of his lawsuit nor illness. He doesn't want to worry them as he worked his off with them for the past 5 years- training like hell to debut ; he knows how much EXO means to them , how important the catchphrase " we are one" means to them. He doesn't want them to worry when their promotion period is near nor when their first concert is approaching.

The fact that Kris pulled a lawsuit for contract nullification in the midst of EXO's peak popularity means that something is seriously wrong.

Remember, people who mature earlier than others tend to be more selfless; if you actually calculate back, EXO's overdose promotion was supposed to start in April but it got pushed back to May. Their promotional period was supposed to be a month hence if you do the math, he actually planned the lawsuit to be after their promotion, just before the concert,so don't you dare say he's downright selfish ( Human nature is always selfish so deal with it. The level on which how selfish you are depends on your ID, Ego and Superego but that's another story ) . He never expected the Sewol ferry incident to occur he never wished for their promotion period to be pushed back , he never expected the issue to be blown up so vastly.

Kris is insecure. He has to constantly seek reassurance thus the constant askance of his appearance or praises of his drawing being good. His constant reading of self-improvement books further proves my point. He knows his distinct flaws and tries his best to correct them. He tries to be perfect and this is very painful to watch from a fans POV. 

When one strives for perfection, they tend to neglect the little pocket of happiness along the way. Kris is going to be really unhappy at this rate but he's never going to show it. He;s forever going to be wearing that gummy smile and telling fans how much he loves them. 

Allow me to tell you how rare it is to see a humble and true smile by people who had already reached the peak of stardom- normally they grow complacent and they tend to be a little cocky. ( Cough JiYeon Cough Suzy )  His smile on his face when he sees the fans is so real and bright that it warms my heart. He really means it ( I can tell from his body language ) when he tells the fans to stay safe or ask them to stay healthy- it all comes from the bottom of his heart. He doesn;t say it for the sake of saying it, he truely means it.

Kris is loyal as hell.

On the last episode of EXO showtime, he ran into the winter sea just to make Suho happy. In the end, he caught a cold that lasted for a near 3 months. And every fan out there knows how busy an idol is during the EOY and start of year with all the Music festivals and award. He endured it silently and continued the activities with a smile.

There is no better person out there, in EXO , that would ever match his selflessness and loyalty. I would safely say that there is no one out there more capable and selfless to take his role as the Duizhang. 

He would be there to catch the members when they fall. Wipe their tears when they cry. Nurse them back when they're sick or injured.

He isn't playing the role of the fatherly figure just cause fans labelled him to be one nor i he playing it just cause he's the leader of EXO-M. He;s playing it cause he wants to. His sincereness, warmness and gentleness doesn't come from his role, it comes from his heart. He cares because he wants to. His responsibility is commendable and this skill came from an incident when he was younger therefore the experience.

He's a very strong and responsible person and such people do not pop out of nowhere.

Like a teacup that had gone through various torments before it seats daintily on the shelve, Kris too had experienced such hardships.

He's the kind that is hard on the outside but soft on the inside.

There are many other things that I;ve observed about him too bu I won;t write it down as it's going to be too long.
