Has it ever been created...?

Two people who love to sing. 

But one of them can't sing.

Not because she/he is a mute or have some condition/disease preventing them from ever singing/speaking in general.
Like really, they can't sing, because they horribly to the point birds die. 
Thus makes this a hurdle to overcome because they just love to sing and want to sing for a living. 

Whereas the other person CAN sing and sounds beautiful. 
Only reason they don't sing is because they have confidence issues. 
I know this type of character exists but what of the one before? 

Is there a fic like that, that tells of the journey of these two people in life or whatever? 
Just with those two characteristics in a character.
