200 Episodes Running Man

Running Man is a part of SBS' Happy Sunday programme. The show first aired by 2010 and has kicked off other variety shows locally and internationally. It is still ongoing until today and has just aired its 197th episode last Sunday.

The original members include: Ji Suk Jin, Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, Kang Gary, Song Jihyo, Ha Ha, Lee Kwang Soo, Song Joong Ki, After School's Lizzy.

Although there are arguments saying that After School's Lizzy is more of a long-termed guest.

Song Joong Ki left the show by episode 42; due to complicated schedules. But he has been a guest in a few episodes after that.

I'm a Runner.

And I'm proud to say that Running Man is the reason I got into KPop.

How can you not love it?

They're funny, entertaining, humble, and so family-like to each other. It's just heart-warming.

Coming to its 200th episode, I kind of agree to some people who said that the PDs are getting a bit un-creative these days; repeating the same themed races and stuffs. But then again, you have to applaud them for actually making the same themed races different with the others.

Running Man still is and always something I look forward to.

It's getting to the 200th episode. Of course different changes has been made. Not that you like it huh? I don't like some of the changes either.

As stated before; Joong Ki and Lizzy left the show. I like the two of them.

Joong Ki has always been an interesting one to watch. Aside from his flower-boy image, he shows how competitive he can be; sometimes his competitiveness backfired, making it completely hilarious. Don't have to mention that sometimes his existence made Lee Kwang Soo intimidated as well.

The older members love Joong Ki more. A loooooooooot~ more.

It's hilarious when Kwang Soo is set aside lol. I know that's mean, but everything is a joke, they all love each other. Trust me.

Lizzy has been the other girl member other than Jihyo; the vitamin for Running Man. She's not that funny in the show, but I can assure you she's quite entertaining.

The concept of the show is getting a little weird on some weeks as well. Running Man is kind of like that ty show with people driving around everywhere all the time on those episodes. But on the bright side, funny games are inserted here and there on that episodes.

And the biggest change?

I read in a forum; 67% Running Man viewers watch the show for the infamous couple, Monday Couple.

New Running Man viewers might not understand this very much; but back in the earlier episodes, Gary and Jihyo are like Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang, Gu Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di, Oh Ha Ni and Baek Seung Jo, (insert famous Korean drama couples here).

Gary was like this country-side boy falling in love with the prettiest girl in school, Jihyo. Their love story only happen by Monday; thus the name Monday Couple. Monday Couple became the biggest pairing back in 2010/2011. The most lovely thing being Ji Hyo choosing 'exotic' faced Gary instead of flower-boy Joong Ki or legendary love-line king Kim Jong Kook.

Yeah, Ji hyo got a boyfriend and Monday Couple hasn't been the same since. But they're they're own people and they deserve freedom to choose.

That means I also have my freedom to still ship them lol.

What I can assure you about them, is the fact that they're both still close to each other, and you can just melt at that sight. Gary recently made a cameo appearance in Ji Hyo's drama!

Overall, let me just say; despite the changes, Running Man is still the best!

The 200th Episode is coming so it's going to be special. What are your hopes?

Tbh, I have my own wishes for the 200th episode.

Those include the Running Man members to sit together and talk about life, cause they're funny like that. Play some light games, betray each other in fames, or something, do the feel-touch-cross thing, basically bring out all the old stuffs back.

"New is always better." - Barney Stinson once said. Byt that doesn't mean old is not good. In fact, sometimes old stuffs are best. Those are what made Running Man this big now.

I don't know bout you, but my biggest wish is for Yoon Eun Hye to come to Running Man! How hilarious would that be?!

Did you see how Ji Suk Jin won againts Kim Jong Kook on ep 197. I can't even ...

He lost because he was distracted when the audience call out Yoon Eun Hye's name.

Through out the show, Eun Hye was often brought up (due to their past love-line in XMan), and Jong kook is always shy when it happened. How awesome would it be when she really come in person?

I know Yoon Eun Hye said she doesn't want to come on Running Man because of that exact reason. I just hope one day she just wakes up and be like; "Screw it I'm going to RM!" (Source: a comment on RunmanClub.net)

Yoon Eun Hye, are you single? Please just come back to our Commander!

I guess this whole blog is of me wishing all the bests for Running Man.

Thank you for making me laugh for the past years, cheering me up when I' sad and being there when I'm lonely. I hope the show last till its 1000th episode or more.

Our Impala, Grasshopper, Tiger, Monday Boyfriend, Mong Acr Jihyo, Haroro, and Giraffe.

We love you.

Congratulations on almost 200 Running Man Episodes. We'll always support you.

Running Man; don't walk, RUN!
