Okay... So like any graduating student, I'm looking for a dress to wear for my prom and... GRRRRRR!
Who knew that looking for a damn dress was so hard!!!! I MEAN IT'S HARDER THAN DOING A MATH EQUATION!

Uhm, okay, maybe not as hard as solving a math equation but seriously, there are three main reasons as to why i can't find a friggin stupid dress:

A) Style

B) Price

C) SIZE

Yeah so... I am going for a cocktail dress (or length) for my dress and I have to go for a dress that fully covers my back and has a... puffy skirt (?) Technically a dress that is not straight like one of those pencil skirts or whatever you call them =_=

Anyway... After having multiple arguments with my mom - which I'm pretty sure would have lead to a cat fight with her if it didn't stop - my mom suggsted that I should pretty much go against the prom dress code OnO

I mean, for a lady who will soon be 60yrs old, my mom has a pretty good eye for fashion and has knows what goes with what than I do =U=

But the idea of going for a dress that is not really meant for prom, wear - idk - these punk type of black boots that have a floral design on it and a "Charlie Chaplin" type of hat to prom kind of makes me hesitate because for sure, if I was a celebrity or smth and wore that on the red carpet, i would've been categorized as "Worse Dress Ever".

Do you get what I'm saying? But the fact that it somewhat saves the trouble of looking for a friggin stylish preppy dress, I kind of like my mom's idea. 

So... I just need some ppl's opinion on my mom's suggestion. Do you guys think it's a good idea or what?
