Making A Signature [PLEASE READ]

So I am making this post mainly for my subscribers who haven't reached the age of sixteen - especially the ones who live in Ontario, Canada (if I have some) since you guys still haven't gone to renew and take a photo for your medical cards (OHIP).

Anyway, as you can all tell, this post is about making a signature for when you need to sign important documents - whether they are signing receipt copies at the bank, medical forms and governement stuff.

When I had to make my signature (since I'm living in Ontario), it was for the medical card and let me tell you, the signature that made is very easy - and easy as in it isΒ easy to forge. Fortunately, after signing with that easy signature, I changed to using a much harder-to-try-and-forge signature, which I am now officially using for things like my passport.

Anyway, what I'm trying to explain here is obviously that when you are making your own signatures, make sure it is hard for anyone to try and copy because a) if you have an easy signature, anyone can copy it and b) there will be a time (knock on wood three times), where someone will take advantage of it and forge your signature.

My mom has a very easy signature. I mean, it looks nice and all but it is so easy to forge that now, we are facing a situation where a worker from an electrical company had forged her signature and now, we are paying more than what we should be for the electrical bill.

You may be like "Then go get a lawyer and sue the company!" but the situation is not as easy you think, especially when we technically don't have the right amount of money to pay a lawyer and again, there's the whole thing with how the signature is a tiny bit similar to my mom's.

Anyway, you guys get the lesson here:

Make a signature that only you can write and no one else. Before you start using it on official documents, make sure that it is that signature that you officially want to use for the rest of your life because it will be the one that will appear on important documents like your passport.

And yeah, that's all I have got to say.
