English

So I sat for my English test just now. I had to write one article and one essay. Tho I can't exceed 100 words for article. And 200 words for essays. I was caught up with writing I kind of exceed the article till 200 and the essays untill 300 or more. Damn teacher going to deduct marks. I'm sorry I couldn't keep my imagination to myself. I'm failing.

Yay.

If the content was good, it will probably be minor deductions, depending on the marking scheme. Word limits are given to train - at least for my students - writers to work within constraints (and often, standardized tests). Also, brevity is (usually) said to be the key to good communication; if you can accomplish in 100 words what others need 1,000 to do, you're on the right track.
