Mixed feelings

I'm sure that most of you guys may hace read about the lawsuit Kris sent. Half of me find it unbelievable, while the other half was just 'yeah'. It is shocking to find that someone would leave at the top of his game, but this isn't uncommon to start off.

There are actually a thousand and one reasons why someone would leave a company. Imagine this: going into a company when you most likely haven't hit puberty yet. Training for days and nights with hardly any rest. Missing out on the many fun things that kids do their age. Forced into a team where you may or may not like everyone. Know that if they somehow mess up badly, they're going to be replace faster than the speed of light. Some people feel that kpop artists are just on a 'slave contract' and there is some truth in that. Idols are human too, and they have sacrificed so many things to rise to the top. It always hurts me when I think about this.

And even after debuting, they still have to face the hate of antis, the crazy obsession of saeseng fans, and the judgment of the general public. They have to be constantly aware of their actions, knowing that every move will be used against them. They do not have privacy, and even without a dating ban cannot do it freely, knowing that it will become the world latest gossip. The life of an idol may look like strawberries and cream to a lot of people, but it's a lonely and painful journey.

I always believe that the people who truly give Idols strength are the fans, the members, and the company. Fans are always a great source of strength to all Idols. The members are there through the thick and thin. The company takes good care of them. So what happens when the company doesn't seem to be doing a good job?

I don't blame Kris for his actions. If he doesn't feel that the company isn't treating him with respect, we shouldn't stop his from making this decision. I'm sure that being a singer is something he really wants to do, and leaving the band when there are so many fans who love him must be painful. So if he really choose to leave, there must definitely be something wrong.

It's upsetting to know that Kris may be leaving and that exo won't be complete anymore, but I really hope that as fellow kpoppers (and exotics) we would respect his decision and hope for the best.

And never forget that Exo will always be one. Always.

I'm still so shocked by this unpredictable news. No matter what decision Kris make, I will 100% respect him and support him whether he is still in EXO or not. I just hope he can choose what is the best for him. Kris, Hwating!!
