Wow, such an interesting life drama for today's repertoire !

Warning: Writtten with sarcasm. The topic discuss , the views that I present , may differ from many others. Don't bash me for it. There's freedom of                              speech. We all have different takes on the matter. Don't bash me.

Well, there was a whole load of drama I had experienced today and I highly doubt my mercurial heart can take it all ( Okay, I'm exaggerating , I don't cry easily, I'm a strong and resilient person ).

Well, things do escalate fast. ( Especially EXO, Haiz, I just wrote a blog post about them last week. Now again, on a topic of a heavier note. Sigh )

Firstly, my exam results were released today and boy do I want to burn all my papers. I worked my off for my Mid-years and wow my grades are terribly ty. There goes my nights of burning the mid-night oil. The mood was terribly solemn in the hall when they went through the papers. It was worse than a funeral.

Secondly, U-Kiss is coming back at the end of the month with a new mini-album ; the best part ? ( Sense the sarcasm ) They are rumoured to have a new member Screw that, there is a new member called Joon and he's only 2 years older than me( God, what am I doing with my life? ) hence making them a 7 member boy group again after the departure of DongHo last September.

Thirdly, I got the shock of my life when I opened twitter after school today.  Janelle and I were just gasping at it , in public ,  freaking out for 10 minutes - we couldn't believe it. We ran reliability check across all the sources multiple times before we came to our conclusion that the news was true.

Every Exo's fan's worse nightmare had came true- A member was leaving the group.

Let's be honest, we've all predicted this day would come but we didn't expect it to be this early.

We all knew that the pressure from the fame , fans and company would get to them and it'll just be a matter of time they snap.

As much as I hate to say this, every fans worse nightmare is not to hear of a comeback being pushed back but to hear of a member or the group disbanding.

Honestly, I knew this would happen; I envisaged it when SM released EXO's teasers. I knew this group was going to be like Shinwha , like TVXQ , like super Junior and it'll just be a matter of time before it happened- the group breaking up or a lawsuit following.

I always thought that the first member to leave was either XiuMin or Kris as they were both soft and vulnerable at heart despite their nonchalant behaviour but I never expected it to be true- I never expected my prediction or what my friends like to call it ( I got that name for some reason but that's a different story. ) - prophecy to come true.

Our dear leader, father , pillar of support for EXO - Kris Wu has filled a lawsuit nullifying his contract with his company.

When you first read the news, you must be thinking WTF is nullification.

Well ladies and gentlemen, allow me to define it for you.

Nullification according to the US constitution context is defined as a legal theory that a state has the right to nullify, or invalidate, any federal law which that state has deemed unconstitutional- the action of a state impeding or attempting to prevent the operation and enforcement within its territory of a law of the United States.

Well to put it in layman words, it just means cancelling the legal contract on grounds that violate the human rights law according to UN.

SM is notoriously known for having killer training and schedules for their idols , this is proven via the various law suits that have been filled by their idols over the years and through the insiders of the music industry.

I personally know a thing or two about the K industry as I've personally learnt, spoke and interacted with the backup dancers or staffs of the entertainment company. I've never entered it and I highly doubt if I want to in near future. Let's not talk about the K industry, let's talk about our normal entertainment industry. I've personally experienced being scouted and being offered a contract; not in Korea but in my country by a local well-known modelling company that provides models for local magazines and brands such as H&M, Forever 21 etc. I'm not going to reveal the company name or anything about them but all I want to say is that the contract that they offered was something I would definitely not accept. I stand at about 167cm and I've a rather muscular built as I'm a dancer. The company wanted me to loose weight, they expected me to be around 45kg , which is definitely underweight for my height, for the 3 years that I'm with them if I signed the contract. I was expected to work for at least 50 hours per month and I'm still a student studying in school. I rejected the contract as the amount of weight I was supposed to loose was not healthy for my body- it would affect my health and dance. My Korean dance instructors that teaches/ dances for SM, TS , YG etc told me of the long and strenuous hours they( the idol & trainees) spend training; they train for 8hours straight without a water break and it's a norm for a practise sessions to last for 14hours . This is preposterous. If you ever dance you would know how tiring it is. Personally, for my classes, A dance practise before performance last about 5-8 hours and when it's done, we'll all literarily collapse on the ground in exhaustion. Try 14 hours.

What I'm trying to say here is, not everyone is cut out for the idol life. You never really know what you want until you experience it. Kris is just like anyone of us, he's human too; He has his own set of thinking, we can't impost what we want on him. We just got to believe that he has his own reasons.

We've all seen multiple videos of Kris at the airport in Canada or China; Kris , let's be honest, he doesn't seem to have a father in his life and all he has is his mother. I've seen videos of his fans stalking him while he and his mother is having bonding time, I've seen fans obstructing him at the airport when he wants to go home , I've seen fans harnessing him when he's back in Canada or China. Kris is a very conservative person, he wants his mother to be protected and hidden away from the public eye but yet, we have fans who are doing the paradox- they desperately try to dig up information on his family. You are hurting him. Kris as cool as he may seem on the outside, he's no different from a delicate porcelain doll on the inside- he has feelings.

I know the whole fandom is in panic as all the EXO members started to unfollow Kris on all his SNS; the bond between EXO is indescribable and undaunting, it's just for the court case right now- they want EXO members to cut all contact with Kris. So please don't freak out.

Kris, he's the main pillar of support in EXO and what I fear may not or may not come true. If Kris leaves EXO, the whole group would shatter.

Like their motto: We are one!

Kris is the alpha behind the scene, he's the one that holds the group together; Suho,no doubt he's a good leader but he is weak in comparison to Kris, Kris is the emotional support pillar of the group.

If he leaves, the next member I fear that would leave is Tao. Tao is soft-hearted and he relies a lot on Kris for emotional support instead of Suho.

If Tao leaves, XiuMin would leave.

Tao and XiuMin are undeniably close; XiuMin is weak and sensitive, the lost of members in the group would be like a lost of a limb. The group members are his emotional crutch.

If XiuMin leaves, Chen would leave. Brotherhood ties over anything and everything- that's the male's code of honour.

If Chen leaves, BaekHyun would leave.

If BaekHyun leaves, Chanyeol would leave.

If Chanyeol leaves, Sehun would leave.

If Sehun leaves, Kai would leave and go back to being JongIn.

If Kai leaves, KyungSoo would leave.

If KyungSoo leaves, Lu han would leave.

If Lu Han leaves, Lay would leave.

And Suho, our dearest guardian, would be depressed. EXO is his childhood dream, he had spent his entire childhood preparing for this. If it collapse, his whole world would be shattered and I do not want to think of what is to follow.

I seriously can't bring myself to watch their live performance during this period, it will just break my heart. I can't stand watching these people who are so passionate for performing fall apart behind their mask of professionalism. Dance is a form of expression, I can't bring myself to watch such a piece of art.

EXO is a legacy but at the same time, it's a double-edged one. If Rome was built in a day, it can also collapse in a day.

The fans are already leaving the fandom; many unfollowed Kris on his Insta and many are questioning him together with the other members of EXO.

Here are my words to them:

I'm pretty sure the EXO members are also worried, confused and anxious; imagine if we are all feeling upset and angst right now, the mood there must be 10 times as solemn. They need us fans more than they would ever need us. They need our support.

Please, leave both Kris and the other EXO members alone. Don't be so selfish here. It's Kris's Life not ours.

Fame isn't everything.

If he's not happy with his current life, let him be. It's his life, let him play it the way he wants it to be. Let him find the happiness he deserved. He spent his entire youth preparing for this- EXO. Let him go if he isn;t happy.

As fans ,we wish nothing more than our idol's happiness.

Please, I implore you, don't pester, bombard or disturb the other EXO members, about the situation; leave them all alone. They need the peace and quiet now.

If Kris decides to leave, it's irrefutable that we'll all feel upset ( I'm Kris bias ), but that's life- his life.

We all have to remember, we are all not a piece of his life, we're just his tinkerbells.

We have absolutely no right in telling him what to do. So please, stop this madness and let them breathe.

Whatever Kris decision is,  whether we like it or not, we have to respect it and accept it.

Like what their song Miracles In december says:

 我往眼眼欲穿   ,看我看不到的你。
我侧耳倾听 ,  听我听不到的你 。

看到曾看不见的画面
,听到听不见的声线
你给了我超能力
。

We can only watch and hear them from a distance.

It's too late for sasaeng fans to say they'll stop this madness although I wish those of you who are still living in your madness would wake up.

The damage had been done.

You started this, you ruined their legacy , you ruin their dream.

I sincerely do hope you're happy after all you've done.

Your sincerely,

Me.

i cried reading this post. Everything you said was true. It's too early for a disband, it's too early for the fandom to shatter, it's too early for me and everyone else to hear this news.. I thought Kris would be in a headline that says 'EXO's 10th anniversary, as EXO M's leader Kris speak up about the future plan' but what I saw was 'Kris EXO was preparing a lawsuit against SM' i understand but at the same time I dont! #WeBelieveInYouKris

I could understand why SM would want the EXO members to unfollow Kris, I am really shocked though I won't question. It is his life after all
