So last week, I almost got into an accident. I was about to go home after church and I need to cross the pedestrian crossing, where all vehicles should stop whenever there is someone crossing. It was around 7.30pm, it was quite dark. There were a lot of car passing through, and they didn't stop for someone to cross, until one car gave way. I was about to cross halfway when a van zoomed past from the other direction and my mom screamed because I was about to get hit. Luckily I didn't. The distance between the van and I was only few centimeters away and it was scary. If I was to get hit, I would end up in a coma or possibly, die.

At that moment, I wish I was. I could just push away all my sufferings and exams to one side and sleep peacefully, but when I think about it again, what will happen to the people around me? And I quickly take back my words.

I just want you to know, that this is a matter of life and death. So please next time, when you drive, look carefully. Drive safely. Don't speed in small roads. And please look out for vehicles when you want to cross. I believe by spreading this around, we all can raise awareness about road safety. Thanks all :)
