DFLA on JK. Me on G&D.

I don't think Danny was confirming that GD and Kiko were dating. Nor do I think he confirmed they broke up. I think he and his cohost were actually being sarcastic/ironic--sorry, I'm not really sure what's the right word. I think--Ok, that's a lot of I thinks--they tackled three items. First, the twerking to a classic song wherein his partner spoofed a twerk-loving professor. Apparently, they were not being serious. They also "defended" Avril against the backlash she's been getting for her music video. And...I think the Leave Avril Lavigne alone! was overdone.

Anyway, in the middle of both topics was the JiKo scandal where Danny seemed to question fans' conclusion that unfollowing each other is equal to breaking up. But it's a logical post-breakup action, right? Danny, however, acted more concerned that GD unfollowed everyone including him. Then he pretended to text GD (until the latter supposedly became a follower again?) while his cohost pretended to take advantage of the breakup. I agree with someone's comment that when his cohost asked Danny to confirm what he heard (They were dating?) and Danny said Yes, it was not tantamount to a confirmed dating/relationship.

For one, from the start of that segment, they were trying to be funny. Ok, granted that some of their statements could be valid or their own opinion, it's rather odd that Danny would speak in public about something as "scandalous" as the state of GD's affairs. Especially when it's taboo. When it's very recent. Of course, Jiko may be--or could have been--real, and he was just trying to calm things down. Sort of a YG denial like in the past.. But it's rather late, right? The frenzy peaked like weeks ago. The show merely revived the whole thing. No, if Jiko is/was real, I don't think he'll bring it up in his show. Maybe later, after it's been confirmed by the parties involved. When GD is no longer active or is starting his transition from idol onstage to producer/composer offstage.

So...is there still hope for applers? Maybe. Actually, the one thing/person that makes me less convinced that Daragon is or was real, is Dara herself. Looking at her expressions, especially her eyes, I try to see if there's any special spark whenever GD is mentioned or is nearby. I couldn't find it. Just look at that GD and San pose backstage at YG Fam Con. Even when she confessed that she saw him as BF material, her expression and her actions were kinda off. I was expecting some giddiness. The last time a fan paired her with him during 2NE1's radio appearance, she acted more like embarassed with a bit of annoyance. Oh yes, I remember her being giddy or something when Minzy revealed in Strong Heart that GD once told her to tell her friends that he gave her a hug. That was a weird reaction for me if Daragon was real, especially when GD did a demo. Dara was like spazzing about the two. I dunno. On second thought, maybe all that semi-poker face or even that unexpected spazzing was just to keep her relationship with him a secret. Act like I'm not his girlfriend. She did say recently that she prefers to keep her romantic liaisons private, right? Which is a must when her man is someone like GD, the most profit-able YG artist.

I'm not sure if this really happened but didn't Ji once said about his girl that no one would think he was dating her? Well, if he really said that, and news--as in news that appear in publications and not just in fan sites/tweets/posts that YG had to issue a denial--of him dating Kiko had sprung more than once, then maybe he was not referring to her. But when did he say it, if ever? Coz some are saying that Daragon was real before Jiko did. But whenever it may be, yeah, maybe Daragon could have been real--or, as some applers will insist on, is still real.

Whatever.
