To say it's only fanboys is kind of sad. A lot of things have changed from back then to now. Fans in General were much more polite, innocent(or well atleast didnt bash others as much, say rude things out of love about their bias, or reveal their ual frustrations). Now just about everyone is the complete opposite. It's disturbing. The only positive change I've seen is how people are more open to liking other idols. Not HAVING to stick with just one group to support. It's not like they're leaving the fandom. It's more of they have multiple groups/bands they like or they weren't very interested to begin with.
