Applying to be our baker
 With baking being more or less the only thing she's good at, it's only natural that she ought to make it her profession. Her parents have suggested her attending L'Art de la Pâtisserie, or perhaps that she opens up a pastry shop, but right now all Pauline wants to do is make people's days a little sweeter without the extra work of assignments or the responsibility of running a business, besides, she truly does enjoy being around the employees at Fashion x & co.

friends:
> Kim minseok - Kind, lighthearted, bashful - Minseok and Pauline have become very good friends Over the years Pauline has lived with the Kims; but the age difference and the time spent living in each otehr's space has served to make them a bit more like siblings than normal friends. Not that either of them sees this as a problem; Pauline has so much fun teasing her dear minseok and Minseok puts up with it both because he's aware it's just for fun and knows all of her super ticklish spots and can therefore take revenge whenever he feels like it. But in truth they get along extremely well and often spend time talking over coffee made by Minseok and a sweet treat courtesy of Pauline. it was Minseok who insisted she applied for the job at fashion X & co. 
> Kim jongin - Dorky, sweet, charming - pauline thinks jongin is one of the most physically attractive men she has ever met, but for some reason she has never developed any feelings for him other than something akin to motherly adoration. This essentially means that she enjoys spoiling the poor boy with sugary treats that jongin is a bit too intimidated to deny, but appreciates all the same. But while jongin feels Hwajeon's slightly forceful care for him is a bit bothersome; he still finds great joy in her company and can't deny that a visit to her kitchen and a quick chat usually gives him the solution to any problem he might be facing.
rival: Luhan - pauline's just jealous because he's such good friends with Minseok, so it's not that serious, instead they kind of compete for minseok's attention(or, pauline competes for it).
enemies:
> Byun Baekhyun - Byun baekhyun, the little who thought he could run around pulling pranks on people (one of which completely destroyed the birthday cake she had worked on for four hours in order to properly celebrate Minseok's birthday) without suffering consequences. unfortunately for him he was wrong, and now he has the silent wrath of Hwajeon directed at him. pauline will get her revenge, and byun beakhyun won't see it coming.

love interest: oh sehun
relationship: Hwajeon and Sehun's relationship is a bit complicated. Or, honestly it isn't complicated as much as it is one sided. because while pauline finds sehun to be a very sweet boy (if a bit bratty, from what she has observed by his interactions with other employees), she has never managed to hold a conversation with him that lasts longer than about four words before he stutters out a goodbye and then high tails out of the room. And even if Pauline finds Sehun's behaviour amusing, she's also quite bothered by his evident discomfort; she'd like to imagine that she's not a very unapproachable person. This situation has lead her to create "operation: Get sehun to stop being scared of me so we can be bffl's instead (cause he's actually kinda cute and we'd look great next to each other ok)", which consists of a lot of pastries in decorated boxes and maybe one too many offers of free lunches.
 Sehun himself isn't really sure why someone as visually delicate as Hwajeon has him becoming such a nervous wreck, but no matter how hard he tries he can't seem to look directly at her without feeling horribly inadequate. And while he has tried to get to know her properly he has now come to the conclusion that he'd rather spare himself further embarrassment and instead just tries to avoid her.
FIRST MOVE: There's no doubt that Sehun was the one to fall first. For pauline the feelings came a bit later on, when she had finally managed to get to know him a bit and realized that he was a very charming boy.
back-up LOVE INTEREST: Kim Jongin
RELATIONSHIP: Jongin and pauline are very comfortable around each other, and often go to each other for advice. The quirk about their relationship is how Pauline insists on spoiling Jongin with treats and lunches and gifts, and even if Jongin himself would prefer it if he got to take care of Hwajeon once in a while, he allows it most of the time with the excuse  that She is older(But really he just wants free food and likes feeling like he's special to pauline)
FIRST MOVE: It was pretty mutual, they got closer and closer until they kind of fell into a relationship, they just didn't realize it. It was awfully undramatic.

> When he's not a nervous wreck, Sehun can actually be quite funny(even if his humour is considered a bit too dumb to hold any actual comedic value, people usually just laugh at him and his existance)

DO YOU HAVE ANY CRUSHES? DON'T LIE: She may or she may not find JOngin to be so beyond humanly good looking that she contemplates his face so she could gain the eternal youth that such a face must be able to grant.
IF YOU COULD SWITCH POSITIONS FOR A DAY, WHAT WOULD IT BE? WHY?: She'd be the new head in charge. CEO Narcisse coming through; making everyone eat pastries and read books all day. because there is no such thing as too many sugar breaks.
ANYTHING ELSE?: When she was ten months old she was adopted from Busan to Cannes by a very successful author and his wife. She grew up with them in a life of luxury and expected flair. When she was 14 her parents brought up the idea of her spending a year in Korea to become more familiar with her country of birth. Pauline liked the idea and a few months later she arrived in Seoul. During her year there she lived with Minseok's family and they became very close. After the year was over she returned home, but only stayed for a year, she spent her last two years of high school in korea; again living with the Kims. When she graduated she moved out of the kim household and into a nice apartment her parents agreed to pay for. She still holds close contact with her parents, and they visit as often as they can.
