This is probably the nth time that I'm saying this...

DO NOT GIVE ME A FREAKIN' "Update soon" comment. Seriously guys... SERIOUSLY?! I write "do not leave me comments like that" in the author's note... and what do I get... "update soon" "update juseyo" "finish this fic soon"

It's really starting to get annoying and what annoys me even more when people are commenting on the fics is a majority of people that are commenting on fics on AFF these days literally seem like they don't even TRY to read the story. All the comments on the site these days is either all fangirling over something or just "update soon" and have nothing to do with the fic.

Are. all. of. you. ing. ting. me?

Let me tell you how some writers and I actually feel when we write and see those types of comments...

Give or take... ALL the writers who have been here on AFF have been writing and spending time writing and putting all our work into it... and then someone will come along and go "Update soon" and NOTHING about the fic itself.

DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW US WRITERS FEEL WHEN WE SEE THAT?!

A majority of us writers feel like you aren't even taking the time to read our work. A majority of us feel like you aren't even caring about the fact that we are trying to share the fics with you and get actual feedback. And I could tell you a majority of people think you're just trying to get karma for going "update soon..."

Yeah you read it... I said it... if you are just going "Update soon" to someone's fic or going on about something that has NOTHING to do with the chapter, the plot and only fangirling over the pairing the fic is about... YOU END UP LOOKING LIKE YOU JUST WANT KARMA.

Well guess what... we are able to downvote your comments. We can take your comments and make it so you don't get that extra karma point.

UPDATE SOON COMMENTS DON'T ENCOURAGE US TO UPDATE AT ALL!

Geez people... the way you comment these days on here is just... I'm starting to think all of you are really iliterate because a lot of you FAIL to see me go "don't say update soon in the comments or anything with updating" in the author's notes which is RIGHT THERE.
