Irritated by judgmental netizens... what's new?

So today, I was creeping up my husband Lee Jong Suk and I found articles about him supposedly ignoring and shaking off a fan's hand at the airport.  For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, please see this:

And this:

Now, I usually don't bother to read about scandals of my husbands celebs but since I've been looking for news on Doctor Stranger (airing at the end of April!!!), I've been checking on Lee Jong Suk news every so often.  This 'scandal' though, both made me laugh and ticked me off.

Netizens (sometimes read as trolls) seem to swarm to celebrity scandals like flies to fresh poop.  It's like they thrive off the ridiculous and they literally stir the pot before jumping head first with a cracker grin on their face.  If they spent as much time knocking down people they didn't know on their jobs, school, or life in general, they would probably be much happier people living much happier lives.

My opinion on this entire issue is that it is ridiculous.  Aside from the fact that I'm a Lee Jong Suk fan, I honestly think he looks surprised.  At the beginning of the video when she (the poor fan) first starts tugging on his sleeve, he was turned to the left and speaking to another guy.  He then walks with his head down (maybe because he has the attention phobia thing) until his manager visibly nudges his right side.  He then looks surprised and tugs his arm away forcefully before he is ushered forward by his manager.

Whether or not he saw the fan is questionable, though even if he did, I doubt he would have had time to react and stop in his tracks.  From what I gather after watching his interviews, he's extremely timid and would likely continue to let himself be ushered away than stand his ground against the manager and accept the fan's gift.  Remember, all of this takes place in just a few seconds.  Most of us would have been too confused until it was too late anyway.  Of course, his timid image could totally be a persona or image created by his agency.  But I would, as his self pronounced wife, like to give him the benefit of the doubt in that he's generally a good person.

If blame must be placed on anyone, I think his manager is the one at fault here.  The manager should have clearly read the situation since he intervened so quickly and stopped LJS to accept the gift.  Instead, he pushed the girl away and continued to usher my baby husband Lee Jong Suk forward before anyone has time to react to the situation.

At the end of the day, we're all human.  Lee Jong Suk might actually be a huge and completely ignored the fan (which, I clearly sympathize with... the poor girl waited so long only to get brushed aside).  OR, he could have actually made the mistake of not noticing her and getting distracted by his manager.  Either way, this was blown WAY out of proportion by silly trolls scouring the internet for their next steaming pile of dump to feed on.

To make myself feel better, I'm going to watch this.

I undoubtedly would have had the exact same reaction, thus, have absolutely no room to criticize him.

netizens have way too much time in their hands. Poor LJS and poor fan.
That's the part that I hate of celebrity-dom. People forget that all these famous people are human too, with fears and flaws like everyone else. That they can't and shouldn't be expected to be perfect. That they make mistakes like everyon else on this planet. They forget that, despite choosing this career they have the same rights as the rest of the world. That being voluntarily under the public eye doesn't equal resigning their human rights.
LJS probably made a mistake. Maybe he didn't notice the fan, and he is getting unnecessary hate for something he cannot control. If he /did/ notice her and brushed her off... Well that is something else entirely.
