Help! I need some advice please?!

I have a question, I'm currently a freshman in high school.

I have to take a week and a half off from school to go visit my grandparents. If I don't take the 1 1/2 week off then I can't go. Then my dad will stay there for about 2-3 months. Without my dad, we'll (my brother and I) have trouble going to and from school since my dad drops us off and drives us back from school. My brother and I go to different schools and at different times. I'm afraid my mom can't handle it. Because of her working times.

My mom disagrees with me taking school off. (Education...)

Do you think it'll be hard to catch up?

Any tips?

First off, talk to your teachers.
Next, get help from your other family members like uncles, aunties, cousins or even friends or neighbours.

Talk to all of your teachers. Explain your situation and ask for their advice. If it's reasonable, most teachers will likely tell you/give you assignments ahead of time and if possible, reschedule tests/deadlines, but only if it doesn't bother anyone else.
