13.02.2014, the day has finally arrived. After four months of joy, happiness, and laughter, EXO SHOWTIME has finally come to an end. It is amazing how time passed so quickly, it was as though SM has just released the official statement about EXO’s new variety show. The announcement for the airing of EXO SHOWTIME came fast. Soon, I have subconsciously spent my Thursdays with a smile, all it was all thanks to EXO.

Thanks to EXO SHOWTIME, I have known these perfect boys so much better. The charismatic images of them onstage are not the real image of them, they are merely just the professional side of EXO. The true EXO? They are all seen during EXO SHOWTIME. Baekhyun being a lovely chatterbox, Luhan being a gentleman, Chen being a caring mum, Kris being a dork, Sehun being a bratty maknae, D.O being a gentle boy, Xiumin being a considerate hyung, Kai being a charming dancer, Chanyeol being a happy virus, Lay being an emotional cutie, Tao being a soft dongsaeng, Suho being a reliable leader.

Thursdays have never been such a marvelous experience for me. From anticipating the pictures and live updates from twitter, to waiting the release of subbed videos, to watching my favorite twelve boys, it has all been a joy for me. Genuine laughter filled the initially mundane Thursday nights. It was great, right from the start of first episode. I have thoroughly enjoyed this journey with EXO.

Little did I know, this happiness would be of such a short lifespan. Twelve weeks of blissfulness passed really quickly, and in a blink of an eye, it was gone. It really saddens me to know that my Thursdays would no longer be spent on watching these cuties acting dumb and eating. But I know well, everything needs to come to an end. So does EXO SHOWTIME.

EXO has ended EXOSHOWTIME with a smile, and so, I would follow suit. It is never a permanent separation, I would still get to see EXO through variety shows, award ceremonies and music shows. Yet, nothing can replace the beauty of EXOSHOWTIME. Goodbye is not for an ending, it is for the beginning of a new journey. Goodbye, EXO SHOWTIME.
