Style: Namsoo's style of clothing is neat and quite studied without giving off a feminine feel. He does not intend to look like a model, but he has particular tastes in term of clothes. He is one to wear shirts and wool jumpers more than sweaters and hoodies. Well, he has a bunches of those too, but he only wears them to train or when he's lazing around with everyone in the dormitory on days off. → Namsoo has a manly feel, and a pretty confident appearance exudes from him. He is this charismatic rapper with a strong and passionate image on stage and who has exactly the words to get people to follow him wherever he wants them to. He gives fierce and hot performances and is far from looking feminine or dumb. He looks like the kind of people who has a great authority. He’s intransigent with himself and practices a lot on his own too. Even when there’s some time to rest, he either sits down with his guitar and composes or always carries around a little notebook. He cannot take the possibility of being one to bring the group down, so he believes he has to work as hard as the others. Off stage and outside of training hours though, GEMINI members would tell you he is just a lazy , the kind of man who would rather open the door with his foot or call someone from the living room to turn off the light in his own room because, well, you know, he is already under the blanket and his feet hurt and he feels like sleeping right at the moment and blablabla.
→ Namsoo is an open-minded man who will give a chance to basically anyone and believes that people are all different; that it is what makes human beings beautiful. This is also why he does not stand those who hold prejudices and judge a book by its cover. But though he may be extremely tolerant, he nevertheless remains a fervent partisan of logic and is nowhere near a gullible dummy. So if there’s something you want to affirm, you’d better have some irrevocable proofs because he likes highlighting the points he finds incoherent. Yes, Namsoo can be fussy like that too. He likes playing the smartass, but there's always someone or something to make him stop bragging about it and face reality - he's not a genius, Krisus.
→ If whatever problem was to get in your way, Namsoo is the person you can go to anytime - literally, even if it's in the middle of the night (but beware at that time, cause he might be drooling on his pillow). He will sit down and hear you out, maybe even hold you as you cry. Being quite straight-forward, don't expect to sugarcoat what he thinks though. He will frelly speak his mind. Giving advices is something he happens to be particularly good at (especially towards his dongsaengs), though oftentimes the result of those advices ends up being the exact opposite of what he wanted it to be. He likes seeing how his friends rely on him because it makes him feel trustworthy and useful within the group. Still, the kid can't seem to settle his own problems by himself and often goes to confide secretly in the oldest members. After all Namsoo, even though he'll try so hard to deny it, is very sensitive and gets hurt easily.
→ For Namsoo, perfection is not a simple word; it’s something everyone should aim for. But the boy has a huge competitive spirit, to the extent that he is always ready to use the sly tricks he has up his sleeve just to win. He is a vicious cheater and a downright bad loser who knows how to get some of s to be his partners in crime. Sometimes, he is a little too curious for his own good. He likes interfering in everyone else’s business and making a big deal out of nothing. In front of his dongsaengs, he is used to abusing of his position of hyung. Unless for those who’re his favorites. If there’s something the members of GEMINI have learnt about Namsoo, it’s that there’s two ways of corrupting him. 1) Praises, praises, praises. No matter he tries not to seem so obvious about this, he enjoys being like almost worshipped. 2) They can get whatever from Namsoo with anything edible - whether foods or drinks. Talk about food and Namsoo’s in, you have him in the palm of your hand. He claims himself to be a supporter of justice but then he just goes and betrays his lovely hyungs and dongsaengs for a packet of crisps or a can of chocolate milk.
Background: Moon Namsoo was born in Gwangju on May 3rd 1992, in a loving family composed of his two young parents. He was raised by his dear mother and grandmother, since his father was always out for work. Indeed, as the Moon family welcomed their first child at a young age, Namsoo's father dropped his studies to earn a living. Namsoo did not get to spend time with his father quite as much as others could have, but this only drawn him to love him even more. Especially when his father never once showed him signs of negligence and made it a point of honor to tuck his son up and kiss him goodnight every evening. Namsoo, though he was young, understood that his absences were sacrifices needed for the good of the family and he was always proud to shout it to his classmates during recess time.
Namsoo grew up to be an open-minded young man, a bit awkward around strangers at first, but extremely kind and warm-hearted. He's never failed to make people feel welcome, thus it was not exactly a hard task for him to make friends. When he was still a little boy, he used to feel better when around girls than other boys. But this habit of him changed when his parents sent him to an all boy international middle school to learn english. Since young, Namsoo has always put a lot of efforts in his studies, especially when he knew that both his parents had (momentarily) dropped their studies to raise him. They've always supported him and had hopes for him to lead a successful professional career later. He always came back home with good marks, and he used to lock up in his room to play the guitar. He knew there was still something missing. It was not sufficient for him, he was not happy with this situation. It's when he joined the school's choral that he realized he had an important potential. He found his way in singing but was still afraid to announce it to his parents, unsure of their reaction. His club's tutor though, informed his parents of his possibilites in the entertainement's realm and that's how his parents came to accept his decision to become a trainee, only wishing for their son's happiness. At one condition, if he did not succeed, he had to go back to his studies.
Namsoo has always had all the attention of his whole family on him only, but things changed with the birth of his little brother Eunsoo, when he was 14. The whole family moved to Seoul when Namsoo was 15.

Though he has never been the kind of kid to ask for help, he knows he does not even have to anyway, because she understands him only with a glance.
# Father - Moon Jinguk - 43 - Cook - Namsoo's really pride of his father. All the sacrifices he's made and all the difficult times he went through because of his early paternity he something he always talks about with an unconcealed emotion. His father is without any doubt his very own hero and his model, though he has always been very hard to approach. Namsoo can't remember the last time he has told his father "I love you", because he was really impressed and nervous to tell his feelings in front of him. # Brother - Moon Jaesoo - 5 - Elementary School student - Although there's a huge between the two of them, their relationship is tight and lovely. Jaesoo always looks up to his big brother and literally adores him. What Namsoo does, is what he wants to do too. He is so attached to his brother that he cries his heart out everytime Namsoo comes to visit and has to leave at the end of the day. Namsoo never seems to get enough of his cuteness. It's painful he cannot get to see his brother grow up and help him all the way through the process of becoming a young man but he still makes time to meet his precious dongsaeng and spoils him whenever he has the occasion to.

# Park Chanyeol - 21 - Idol - Park Chanyeol is one of Namsoo's best friend. They met four years ago when Namsoo auditionned for SM Entertainment. Tough he did not make it, he kept in touch with Chanyeol who was a SM trainee at that time. Chanyeol is like a sun. He shines his light on approximatively everybody and his Happy Virus attitude never fails to make Namsoo feel like everything's in the world is ok. Everything's going to be ok. That's the feeling he gets when Chanyeol is near. Let alone the fact that Chanyeol happens to have the weiderst antics ever and the most far-fetched ideas one could ever have. He is really funny to be with and extremely kind. Namsoo likes the fact that Chanyeol is sensitive and that he has no shame to show it to the world. He wish he could have this strenght too. The two boys are really close, so much that there's not a single day they do not text each other. They like challenging one another and childishly tease each other. There's this sort of frenemy bond between them. It's always a competition, but at the end of the day, they still end up sending a cheesy loving message to the other. When Namsoo spends time with Chanyeol, time seems like it's flying away so quickly. Moreover, Namsoo knows that he can talk about just anything with his best friend. From idiotic pranks to serious topics, they can handle everything together.

# Jung Hoseok / 'J-Hope' - 19 - Idol - Namsoo and Hoseok hit it off the first time they met. Both of them are proud countrymen from Jeollabuk-do, and especially from Kwangju. They're also two rappers who have a passion for music, quite the same style by the way, and like composing. So basically, the alchemy between the two couldn't have been more perfect. Though Namsoo is not as hyper as Hoseok and not as 4D, this side of his Hoppie hyung happens to endear him a lot. Just like with Chanyeol, he's never bored when he is around J-Hope. He also can share old memories from their hometown and that is something he never gets tired of.
# Jung Eunji - 20 - Idol - Namsoo believes that Eunji's strong accent is her charm. This girl is true and adorable, she's blunt and can't never lie. That is what Namsoo likes the most about her. If he needs a honest opinion, even though it might be painful to hear, he knows he can ask Eunji because she will be frank. Even so, the girl never means to hurt no one and she is empathetic and cute all at the same time. Her antics are the best, too.

# Park Chanyeol - 21 - Idol - It's a frenemy kind of rivalry between Chanyeol and Namsoo. Nothing really serious, and they're not really enemies either, it's just them being their idiotic selves and challenging the other as to who can be the best leader between the two of them. It's quite funny to see them struggle and fight like children, but all the members know how much it's important for them to be like that because it's just the way their friendship works. How he became an A-Star Trainee: When Namsoo was 15, his whole family moved to Seoul so that it was easier for him to go around and audition for whatever company pleased him. He spent the first few months going through a couple of failures. There was always something wrong. He was young, stressed and nervous and in the end he never got accept anywhere. But he didn't abandon, he worked harder, he continued to audition and A-Star noticed him. He auditioned for the company a few months later and became a trainee as he was almost turning 16.

♦ An emission for the members? Something like Weekly Idol or something. Or just a show with a few episodes. I guess, it would be pretty funny. To get to know them, their attitude off stage, their relation with each member. And well, I don't know, like a scene where they have to choose the "-est" member (the dumbest, the most feminine, the coolest, the dirtiest - you get my point) or where they have to vote and all the members are trying to buy Namsoo's opinion with food and compliments.
♦ A scene where Namsoo's mother comes to visit him (this could be related to the first scene request) and this ends up with her nagging at her son and she also reveals lots of embarrassing stories about Namsoo's childhood to the members. And then, when Namsoo's mother and brother have to say goodbye, his little baby boy cries into his embrace and he eventually cries in their mother's arms too.
