Jinhae also prefers jeans and trousers over skirts and dresses, because she feels more comfortable in them. Her style is basically quite simple, yet it has this hint of cute and elegant appearance. She is feminine, though she is not one to burden herself with useless accessories. A bag is sufficient enough. Her conception of fashion? The simplest, the better. True » Jinhae is a person of great integrity. She makes it a point to stay true to herself despite the situations and to be herself no matter what it takes. She thinks that there is no point in being appreciated or admired for what you are not and that building up a façade is just another way for people of escaping from their fears. Honest and straghtforward, the girl can barely fake anything and she has a tendency to truthfully speak her mind. BACKGROUND » Kim Jinhae was born and raised in Yaksok, in a loving family composed of two caring parents and a protective older brother. She has never known anything else than life at Yaksok. She grew up to become an optimist and hard-working girl who is ready to do whatever it takes to reach her goals. As she turned into the pretty lady she is now, her parents were not often present, but she never knew what loneliness means since she always had her two brothers by her side. When she was 3, indeed, Jinhae's family welcomed another boy. The three siblings always supported each other when their parents were working until late in the evening and Taehyung was always the one to take care of the two younger kids. Jinhae is extremely thankful for that and maybe this is all the reason why the Kim children are so close to one another now. At one point, Jinhae used to suffer from the lack of parents' presence, but she understood that they did not do it on purpose. If she had the opportunity to make some changes in her life, she would not change anything. She believes that life is the way it is because it has to. Moreover, she cannot really complain about anything.
Because she has always had a place to come back to knowing that there would be loved ones waiting for her with open arms, Jinhae is who she is now. Her integrity was made up by this feeling of security she had when she was home with her two brothers. Thanks to that, she was able to confront the world without the fear of being herself.
LIFESTYLE » Jinhae lives with her two brothers and her parents, though the latters are often taken with work in a little, peaceful street running parralel to Yaksok's main avenue. Jinhae goes to Yaksok's High School just like every other teenager where she is a rather good student. Jinhae also likes meeting her friends at their usual hang-out, a little coffee situated in the corner of a generally busy street. She is often seen strolling in Yaksok's mall, doing window-shopping and likes taking a walk in Yaksok's numerous parks before going home. Most of the time though, you would find her slouched iin the back shop of the bakery Taehyung works at, sometimes alone, sometimes with a few friends as Taehyung is allowed to bring a few people to the shop. Otherwise, Jinhae practices swimming and basket-ball as a hobby and she loves photographying people, landscape and everyday life's situations.

• The scent of damp grass - Jinhae likes the scent of freshly damp grass because it reminds her of her childhood when she used to play with her brothers in their grandmother's garden.

• Rudeness - She believes that when someone is saluting, it's people's duty to reply back and that, no matter the situation, politeness should never be forgotten.

They are especially close and Taehyung is always ready to sit and hear his sister out. Though he does not show it in front of his noona, Taehyung could tell you that this boy is a sweetie who easily freaks out. BEST FRIEND » Kim Hanbin // 17 // High School Student // In Jinhae's eyes, there is no friend quite like Kim Hanbin. Hanbin is the serious and hardworking smart- who turns out to be as dorky as a human being could possibly be. He has the weirdest ideas ever and sometimes it just seems likes he lives in his own little world, which happens to endear Jinhae a lot and also amuses her. He likes cracking jokes just to hear Jinhae's laughter because he finds it really cute and he does not like seeing his bestie pained or gloomy. Ever since they met when he moved in at the age of 12, the two have been inseparable. They often tease each other and bicker, only to be glued to one another the next minute. Even if they seriously quarrel, which rarely happens, they can't stay mad at each other for too long. They understand each other in a glance and are even synchronized in their reactions and words. For instance, they will react the same way to the same thing or say the same thing and oftentimes they do it at the same time. It is actually pretty frightening. Taehyung often says, "If I was not Jinhae's sibling (and if it wasn't for Hanbin's dorky overflowing cheerfulness), I could actually believe that you two are hidden twins". HOW DID YOU MEET/MET » Choi Hansol is Kim Jinhae's childhood crush. When he left for the USA at 7, he did not keep in touch at all with Jinhae, but this is not as if he cared anyway. They were too young for this kind of things. But Jinhae never forgot him and she grew up with the hope to see him again one day. After all, a first crush is always important in a girl's heart. Hansol and Jinhae were classmates back when they were in elementary school and Hansol's seat used to be next to Jinhae's.
INTERACTION » Jinhae has always had a thing for Hansol. As a little girl, she used to have a crush on him as they attended the same school, often were in the same class and even usually were sitting next to each other. But he only had eyes for their classmate, Jinhae cannot even remember her name. Hansol is back in town and Jinhae finds herself being overwhelmed with joy and expectation. She is happy her old friend and first crush just came back. She is always around, always inviting him out or to do something with her and her friends. But it seems likes he's never available when she suggests things. He has shown her more than once that he did not want to and he keeps on pushing her away. But he does not even know what to do now to tell her that he is not interested. While Jinhae keeps holding onto their relationship, he just does not give a care about what can possibly happen to it. He keeps ignoring her feelings and hurting her without even noticing what his actions do to her. Things cannot seem to get better though when he meets Jinhae's older brother and happens to find the boy extremely nice and fun to be with. He likes Jinhae's brother's company and Jinhae is trying to get that to her advantage. But in the end, Hansol ends up rejecting her quite harshly and at some point she decides that it is time for her to stop being so desperate and clingy and to move on. Though she does not want to lose a friend, she's ready to let her crush go and so changes her behaviour around him. However, as Hansol spends more time around Jinhae and the girl does not harrass him as much as she used to, he slowly has a change of mind. His heart feels soothed whenever she is there and he cannot seem to bear her being surrounded by other boys. But she ignores his feelings and he realizes what he has done to her all this time and he will try to make up.

Well, first things first, I'd like to see the scene when Jinhae hears about Hansol's return in town from one of her old friends and when she sees him again after all this time. Hansol discovering Jinhae's tattoo and being surprised because he did not think that she was the kind of girl who would get herself tattooed. He asks for the signification of her tattoo and she then explains him how she has lived before, how she still lives and why her brothers are so precious to her. Hansol finds it quite admirable. Jinhae tries to bbuing bbuing Hansol to get him to do what she wants but this does not seem to work out with this boy.
Next, Jinhae and Hanbin quarelled over something not really so significant but they end up really mad. Jinhae is devastated due to this argument and somehow Hansol does not like the fact that she is so screwed up because of another guy. As weird as it may seem, he actually finds himself being jealous and he decides to act in consequences. Maybe Hansol finding Jinhae's journal? It could be fun and all. And it can help him realize what he's really doing to her. Jinhae drags Hansol out for some shopping and when she happens to try on several dresses, he happens to be amazed. Yet, he does not let her buy even one because he does not want other guys to look at her and see how feminine and beautiful she looks in a dress - even though she is feminine even clad in a pair of trousers. He just does not want her to expose skin even if they are not even together.
