So, does anyone of you know about Royal Pirates? I doubt most of you would. So here's a wonderful introduction to RP for short, so that you will suffer the same amount of pain I went through because I FELL in love with them.

THEY ARE A GLOBAL BAND.

I have a thing for international groups. Look at my biases. Eli, Peniel just to name two. Both are foreigners. Recently, I like Jackson from GOT7 and he's a foreigner too. UKISS is definitely a international group, with Kevin and Jaeseop (AJ) to top it off. GOT7 has Mark and Bambam if you don't like Jackson (because he's too wild and y for you). So yes, I have a thing for international groups, and because RP is a global band, with James (the bass guitar player) being Half Korean and Half American and all 3 members of RP (that means Moon and Sooyoon) being able to speak relatively fluent English. You don't get Perfect-English-Speaking groups anywhere in the Kpop industry. 

THEY ARE A BAND. 

okay, overusing the word band here. but, it's probably the first time I'm falling so head over heels with a band. Even when I like a band, I usually like either the guitarist or the lead/main vocal and usually that's the same person. See FT ISLAND Hongki and CN BLUE Jonghyun for reference hahah 

So yes, it's a first that I can officially say I stan RP like I actually stan a BAND and probably the last. So yay to RP. 

DID I MENTION THEY HAVE A 1.9M TALL MEMBER???

Oh, yes height. Height, the bane of males. Because for idols like LJoe, Gikwang, Jonghyun and even DGNA, they NEED to wear insoles because there are people like James Joohyun Lee who exists. I am someone who looks very heavily on height, partly because I'm very tall (like 5 feet 7 tall) so I notice height more than anything else if I haven't heard their music. James hit me like a block of wood, model style with an eyesmile behind that fake spectacles. I simply died. Moon has an eyesmile too, and I think Sooyoon kinda has one. So yeah, eyesmiles + tall height + deep voice = James Joohyun Lee = death of me. 

Honestly speaking, I've only heard of their songs because they went on ASC where Kevin was the special MC, ever since then, I am proud to say I don't regret watching RP's ASC. Thank GOD for the ASC or I would never realised how ridiculous they are. 

FUN FACT:

Joohyun has filmed CFs before debut in Royal Pirates. Joohyun knows most of the English speaking idols in kpop, including Peniel, Eric Mun (the soloist not the SHINHWA member), Kevin and Amber (yep, amber from fx).
