GLAM's Dahee; our outrages at idols.

Some of you, or rather MOST of you would not know who this girl is. She's the main vocal of the female idol group GLAM (debut song: XXO). The group is currently not promoting and they are under BigHit, the same entertainment as Bangtan Boys and 2AM. She is also one of the main characters in Monstar (the one with BEAST's Junhyung), acting as this cool and chic rocker girl who has loads of debts to pay off. If you still don't know who she is, here's a picture of her.

Now, recent news have reported about how she is one of the blackmailers of actor Lee Byunghun. She admitted to blackmailing Byunghun for a huge sum of money and I've been reading the comments about her, about the scandal. Most of the comments were about how Byunghun has a wife (Lee Minjung, a real pretty actress), why did he invite her and another model over to his house to drink and do whatever was mentioned.

Other comments? Oh, boy they were hurtful. Most of the comments were cusses at Dahee, some even mentioned how Dahee was paying off her trainee debts because GLAM wasn't promoting (because BTS is more famous) and they couldn't earn anything.

This is where I feel really pissed.

1. How could you cuss at a girl barely 21, just because she blackmailed a famous actor? Haven't you realised that there IS fault with the actor (no offence though, I like Byunghun too) too? I mean, if he didn't invite the two girls over (for whatever reasons), would the two girls have had a chance to record and blackmail him for whatever he said. He has fault too, but most of the blame seems to go to Dahee because she is THE rookie.

2. Why bring BTS in? Look, I know every fandom has its stupid fans, my fandoms included. But, really? I trust that most of the Army(s) are smart enough to understand that BTS is in no way involved in this lawsuit. It's obvious. So to the fans who purposefully brought BTS in to make GLAM look bad, the fans who said that Dahee blackmailed Byunghun because she had to pay her debts, please just STOP. You don't know her situation, you shouldn't judge her. Of course, she's a celebrity and she will be judged for whatever she does. But if so, you should just judge her for her behaviour, her behaviour of blackmailing, and not make up random stories about her trainee fees, make up stories on how she earned a place in GLAM. With her singing abilities, I'm sure she would have gotten in without any bribery.

So please, as fans, we serve to protect our idols, but we must not forget that idols are also humans too. They make mistakes, they have emotions, they repent. Being a celebrity does not make you an immortal. Being a fan does not make you a judge in court. Please be mindful of comments, especially the dirty ones. You will never know what can happen because of ONE comment, ONE scandal, ONE action. There will be the Butterfly Effect. There will be severe ramifications.

(So much emotions in this article, I apologize if I sound a little biased because Dahee's my bias but I felt that I NEEDED to put this out. Please, show it to your friends, pass it on, let them know that they shouldn't post hateful comments. Fanwars should not even happen in this crucial time.)
