2NE1 Rant.

Wow, another one of my infamous rants.

So 2NE1 recently starred on "The Bachelor" and had the people on the show backup dance to 2NE1's I Am The Best in a Shopping Center/Mall. Now, many people like 2NE1 because of the TV show. Now, that's all dandy and crap but now, Blackjacks are being stupid because of it. (May I add that not ALL Blackjacks are being morons.) Many fans are telling the people who found 2NE1 off the of the show that they aren't "REAL FANS" because they aren't exactly die-hard fans. Old blackjacks are bashing the newers ones and it's ridiculous. By having new fans, that means 2NE1 has more popularity. Which is GOOD.

I was reading some YouTube comments and I am glad SOME people get it.

1.) Come on guys, just stop it already. If you're a true blackjack then you wouldn't bash our new blackjack friends. I know that we all get that feeling that they're new and we knew them way before bachelor (and you know what comes after that) but seriously 2ne1 is for everyone. Fan since 2009 or fan since 2014 it really doesn't matter when you loved them it boils down to just plain lovin' our QUEENS cause' their the best.

2.) As far as I'm concerned, if you like an artist's music then you have every right to call yourself a fan of them. It doesn't matter how you stumbled across them. This is why the K-pop fandom gets ted on sometimes; some of us are way too protective and don't want any non-diehard fans listening to the music or commenting on YT. It's unrealistic. Anyone who wants to listen to it, can do so, and we should be encouraging people to listen to K-pop if they like it. We hate when people bash Korean music simply for being in Korean, so why would we bash people for giving it a chance? Hypocrites...

3.) This M/V got more views because of the bachelor. Thanks! Because this is the best M/V.

4.) welcome new BLACKJACKS! <3 Let's reach 100m views :p

5.) Blackjacks used to be more open, but ever since YG artist have been getting international attention, everyone sees to be getting colder. You aren't better than anyone just because you knew who they were when they debuted or generally before the bachelor, and 2ne1 and kpop are not a secret or a little club you can hold on to. Get. Over. It. It's music. It's universal. Others are going to find them so instead of being jerks, spread the 2ne1 love by recommending songs. Let others enjoy them and stop acting so high and mighty.
And people wonder why the rest of the kpop fandom seem to hate us.

6.) Welcome all new 2NE1 fans! Support <3 <3

7.) The coments that say that they knew 2NE1 way before The Bachelor, no one gives a damn, even if someone is here because of the show, BlackJack has to welcome them politely..

8.) it doesn't matter if you knew 2NE1 back in their lollipop days, or from their appearance from the bachelor days. or anywhere in between. if you love them you are ALWAYS welcomed into the fandom. there is no exclusiveness for someone who was there from day 1. a fan is a fan so all you fans from day 1 calm down and just be glad for the publicity. New people who are interested should try not to offend old time fans. as 2ne1 has been doing very well BEFORE even stepping on US soil or before Gangnam style

So, yeah. I question how people can be so stupid.

Wow. Everyone was a new fan at one point. How hypocritical. So basically I can all over them because I was a fan of kpop pre2009? Idiots. I hate people like that. These kids need to learn to be more damn grateful. When I first became a fan back in '03 it was difficult to find English subs of anything, or to see anything streamed live or even getting to go to concerts. Kpop fans these days have no idea how good they have it. Kpop is so much more accessible now and they're just being a bunch of ungrateful, immature, unappreciative spoiled little brats and it pisses me off.

I hate fans that are like that. 2NE1 are like the only kpop girl group I listen too. If those guys really were devoted blackjacks and loved 2NE1 they would accept the new Blackjacks. URGH. Do they want to restrict 2NE1's popularity? That's just cruel. How would they like it if they only found out about a group through a show but were instantly told they're not true fans. It's just mean. Plus it's bad for 2NE1s reputation. Why can't people think about the consequences, not just for them but for other people *cough* 2NE1 *cough* , before they speak.

You're rants make me rant xD

Wait did I read that right? Some Blackjacks are bashing the new fans? O_O I don't believe in this 'true fan' or 'dedicated fan' crap at all -__- I wasn't a fan of EXO for example when they debuted, but I like them now and same for DBSK, SNSD, Apink etc. I just wasn't a KPop fan at the time is all and only recently got into some groups around 2010 or 2011 :/

Fans are supposed to be welcoming to new members are we not? If I meet a new DBSK or EXO fan, I still treat them with respect and try to make them feel welcomed in the fandom not scare them off like some people do.

The exact same thing happened with EXO and the EMAs. Through the #EMAzing contest, some Directioners and Beliebers came to view EXO and they said themselves that they liked EXO. However, some fans were a bit vocal and said, "You're not an EXO fan unless you're really devoted to them" and "You're not a real fan. Your love for them will probably die off soon so don't get attach to them too much. You're just going to waste time." The majority of the fans however went on and tried to soothe the conflict telling the newer fans to ignore them.

/sighs/ There can never seem to be ONE peaceful moment in the Kpop community can it? IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?!?! :/
