There's a friend of mine (not really. i dislike her a bit) , we used to go to the same elementary school. She wasn't into kpop for the past years. I do notice she starts posting about kpop this year or maybe last year. idek. But, recently she suddenly chatted with me in fb and all of a sudden she spelled baekhyun's name in hangul. wrongly. 변 벽 현 (byeon byeok hyeon). i thought 'ugh typical newcomer'

And so i told her it's 뷴백현 (byun baek hyeon)

but she said that i was wrong and that the korean she wrote was on baekhyun's shirt, internet, yada yada yada...

I was like 'bish no'

but then i remembered that byun does not necessarily is 뷴. the correct term is 변 (byeon) like hyun but in hangul, it's spelled as hyeon.

basically we both made a fool out of ourselves. /facepalm

The correct hangul for baekhyun's name is: 변백현

take note older/newer exo stans.
