The one thing I'm sick of is the fact that people generalize the site and say that this site is all EXO. This site is not all EXO. It's Infinite, SuJu, SHINee, etc... This site has a bunch of bands that have a lot of fic and yet, people seem to think that the bulk of this site is EXO fics. It's not. 

And when people say EXO fics, they automatically think it's all of EXO. No, it's not all of EXO that gets featued. Chen, Xiumin, Suho, Lay, etc... don't get featured at all and yet they are a part of EXO. So for everyone that thinks that EXO is featured too much, it's only a few members/pairings that actually get featured and get popular. So I hate it when people generalize EXO fics and say there is too much. 

And why is everyone getting bent out of shape that there are EXO fics on this site? Seriously, that's why tags and the search engine are on here. You can easily go about this site and not have to read an EXO fic if you don't have to. No one is forcing you to read an EXO fic. Just like no one is forcing you to read an Infinite or even a Teen Top fic. If you don't want to read about a certain band, then don't. It's easy to go about this site and not have to read a single fic about a band you don't like. 

Yes, EXO gets featured a lot, but about 40% of the featured system is also non-fics. And you know if there were no non-fics on this site? Then non-EXO fics can be featured. So really, why are you getting pissed off that EXO fics are featured when about 40% of the featured system is used for non-fics? 

And if  you're so bent out of shape about the amount of EXO fics, then create your own damn site that doesn't have EXO fics. But yet, no one wants to do that because making your own website is hard. So really, if you want something that has less EXO fics, then do it yourself and stop complaining. 

People like writing EXO because there is always one member/pairing that speaks to them and wants them to write about them. For me, I like writing Jongdae fics or writing ExFinite fics, but I also write BTS and BAP fics too. I only write what I want to write and just because you think that there should be more non-EXO fics about, you can't force people to write non-EXO fics. 

And even if you suggest people to write non-EXO fics, what's the chance of them not going back to writing EXO fics after they finish? The chance is pretty slim, and that's even if they finish a non-EXO fic in the first place. 

Yes, there are a lot of EXO fics on here, but that doesn't make it difficult to find other non-EXO fics. I can easily go on a tag or rec fic and find a non-EXO fic easily. So why can't you? 

Seriously, before you start complaining about how their are too many EXO fics on here, think about why people write about them. Yes, there are a few that write EXO because they think they'll get popular, but a good amount don't do that. 

And really, wasn't this site filled with SuJu, SHINee, and Big Bang fics about two years ago? Weren't those the popular fics on the site where fandoms like SS501 or Beast were barely written about? Or what about the people that don't even write non-kpop fics? 

EXO is a fad, and if Winner from YG turns out to be awesome, you'll probably see a bunch of fics from them sprouting up too. Or if SM puts out another boy group, I'm pretty sure people will jump on the band wagon and write fics for them too. 

Really, you may think this site is EXOfanfics, but until you can make your own damn site, stop complaining.

(And really, just because EXO fanfics get featured, doesn't mean you should focus on that fact. Especially when being featured turns a good amount of authors into egotistical asses. Or the fact that a good amount of people view featured fics as terrible writing. So really, is it so great to get a day of fame and then deal with the problems that sprout up once being featured. I know a few featured authors that are nice and hardworkers, and yet, they get lumped with the s or are viewed as bad writers. So really, is it really that important that your fic gets 5 minutes of fame and gets over 10 people reading your fic.) 

(And what's even worse is the people that complain are people that easily get 100+ subscribers when it comes to their fic, while the people that get 10 aren't complaining. So really, what does that make you?)

(And no, I'm not an EXOtic, I'm a hardcore Inspirit that has no problem finding good fic like you all can't seem to do and then get hurt about it.)

(But if you feel the need to write non-EXO fics, I'm not stopping you. But I just want to make it known that even though their are a lot of EXO fics around does not make this site an EXO site and will never make this site an EXO fanfic site. And if it's such a problem, either make a website yourself or just leave. No one's paying you to stay here if you can't deal with the fact that people like to write EXO fics instead of whatever group you like.)
