reaction to king's 'announcement': She laughed at first, thinking it was a joke and mocked her father saying he would never send his precious daughters to be alone with 7 men, She then took the opportunity to point out his unfair attitude towards her, by saying that he'd do that to her, but not to his precious youngest daughter. After realizing the whole thing was serious, she became even more defying than before, skipping every class, running away from the castle to roam the streets of the village more often and threatening his father to misbehave or even kill the princes if she got the chance. She wasn't sure through if it was because she really hated the idea, because she was afraid or because she wanted to defy his father at all costs. When she saw no way out of it, she fought with her father and cut her hair to supposedly make herself "undesirable" to the princes.
