T.O.P's drug scandal

Alright!

Hello everyone!

I have not been around for a while - years, to be more specific - and also have not been particularly interested in K-pop anymore. I still do follow Big Bang on Insta and all, but except for that, my taste in music has changed, basically. However, I have been intrigued to learn that there was a scandal involving T.O.P and people losing their over it, so I did some research.

Turns out it involves T.O.P smoking ...

my God, can you believe it, Snoopy? People smoke weed. Eeek!

I am obviously being ironic. I honestly don't see the big deal about it. I guess that the policy in Korea is stricter than in Europe and maybe this is why, but man, in Western Europe people smoke weed in the streets... freely. It is indeed illegal, but let's be serious, one joint never killed nobody. It's not like he was doing hard drugs. He did it a few times, that is not enough to develop addiction and is way harmless compared to alcohol, so what is the big deal?

People need to understand that just because something is deemed illegal by the system, it does not mean that the person doing it is a demon, public enemy, crazy, criminal. Figure that in the USA, many actors and singers talk about using freely, on TV and in interviews. It is illegal as well, but nobody does anything about it. So why is this any different?

Here's a few examples:

 - Snoop D O double G, but I guess that you already saw that coming.

 - Miley Cyrus, who allegedly stopped after she had started abusing it.

 - this gorgeous human being, Ezra Miller, who openly admits smoking pot.

Annnnd the list goes on with names such as: Rihanna, Robert Downey Jr., Madonna, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, etc. It's just one google away if you want to do research. All these people are great, some are a great inspiration and the fact that they choose to smoke pot does not make them any less amazing.

So people, they matter more than their habits. I literally don't understand what's the biggie about it. :) I guess that for people who have heard of from the press, it sounds terrible, but for those who actually know, it's harmless if not abused.

Peace out!

Stay calm and love T.O.P.

lol. I know weed is harmless and YOU know weed is harmless but SK doesn't know that. it's honestly shocking how taboo they consider it. it's sad too, bc something as harmless as smoking weed labels you as a druggie and a crackhead. unfortunate and ridiculous but it's the culture and the law there. and they're extremely strict on it. he should've known better. my heart goes out to him anyway bc he was really depressed when he smoked, but yeah - the law is still the law. and as ed up as their system is, he still knowingly broke it. I just want it all to blow over and for him to be ok
