Yoshiko is a very quiet girl that is doesn't like people to knowing what she's thinking, but is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in or defend herself. She is polite but can be very cruel to those she thinks is treating her unfairly. She has a great sense of justice and hates it when something is not done about the crimes in the world. She has a way of twisting words around to make them mean a different way. She may be saying something, but implying something else. She hates racism and always takes responsibility for her, and sometimes even others, actions. She is mature yet can be immature around her close friends. She never judges people before meeting them and hates gossip and people talking about somebody else behind their back. She is honest and tries not to lie, even though she still does at times. She may be quiet but has a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to lash out at the people hurting her or her friends. She is very possesive of her things and believes that what's hers is hers and nobody should touch it without her consent. She is a very private person and doesn't like sharing very much, but she still will if she is forced to or if she cares deeply about the person.
Yoshi rarely gets truly mad, but when she does it's not difficult to tell when she is or who she is mad at. Yoshi may not yell in anybody's face or throw or cause a scene, but in her mind she will be silently cursing them and pretending the person who made her angry doesn't exist. Sometimes she may not speak to a person for months because of her anger and the fact that she hates apologizing. She has never, and will never like to be the one apologizing first. Whether she is sorry or not, she is too stubborn for her own good and hates backing down. Even after the person apologizes, it will take some time before they get back on the terms that they were on before the fight as Yoshi bears grudges and never forgets when somebody has mistreated her.
Yoshi was born in Osaka, Japan on February 3, 1995 with one brother and her parents. Her parents taught her Japanese at a very young age and it became her first language. Her family decided to move to Canada due to her grandparents health. She was picked on at school by the Canadian children due to the fact that she was Japanese, even though she was Canadian, the other children always considered her an outsider. Her parents were rarely home due to work so she and her brother stayed in their grandparents care. Sher hated how her parents almost never had time for her and her little brother, but she understood their motive. Since her grandparents refused to move back to Japan, somebody had to stay with them to make sure they were ok. At the age of 14 Yoshi's grandfather passed away from old age and a year later, her grandmother followed. She was heartbroken at the death of her grandparents and griefed over their deaths. Her parents realized that Canada was not the best place for their family, and with her grandmother and grandfather gone there wasn't any more family in Canada so they decided to move back to Osaka when Yoshi was 16.
Yoshi lived in Osaka for two years of her life before heading to Korea for university. During her two years in Japan, her peers always saw her as an outider even though she was born in Japan. She soon had a little group of friends but never really succeded in school. She never did welll, always getting C's or the odd B but she loved Fine Arts; singing, painting, sculpting, dancing, composing. She argued many times in the past with her parents about her grades and performance in school, her parents never accepted her going into the arts and prefered her to go into business or become a lawyer but she hated those jobs. She found them boring and unexciting. She was excepted into the "Korea National University of Arts" and is majoring in Vocal Music.

Jessica was at a popular restaurant with her sister when Yoshi sang for money. Jessica loved her voice and asked her to join SM which she politely declined, saying she'd rather focus more on school and since she heard of the busy schedules and how much work was needed to be an idol and would much rather focus on the Classical Arts instead of being an idol. Even so, Jessica sugested her audition for SM just for fun. At first Yoshi was hesitant and didn't want to, she hated getting much attention and would rather just be a nobody. But her aunt found out and "kindly persuaded" Yoshi to go audition. She complied and auditioned and soon after got accepted as a trainee. Jessica was happy that Yoshi actually listened to her request and became her tutor.
After Jessica became her tutor, they got close. Yoshi started opening up to her since she never gave off the vibe that she wanted to hurt her and they soon became friends. Even with her friend as her tutor, Jessica was still strict during training. Friends or not, Jessica would sometimes make her sing the same note for hours getting it perfect. She would tutor Yoshi in Korean and always tell her when she is pronouncing, or if there are any mistakes, in her speech. Jessica worked Yoshi's voice to hell and back, spending days on a line in the song and months for a whole song. She would work Yoshi until she was perfect. In Yoshi's opinion, Jessica was the kind sweet funny American Sweetheart, but she was also the scary intimidating demon during training. Even so, Yoshi knows that Jessica just wants what best for her, so she does the things Jessica says to improve.

In Yoshi's eyes, he is the spawn of the devil. Always doing the smallest things to annoy her. Whether it be teasing her, annoying her or just making her mad, which is also the reason why he may always be in her apartment but has never set a foot in her room much less see it. It is always Dae Hyeon's job of doing it. He can be quite the prankster, scaring Yoshi or hiding something from her, but in all honesty, he just does those little things that annoy Yoshi for her attention. He can get jealous easily and be very protective of her, even without her realizing it, he's always worrying and caring about her. Dae Hyeon is somebody who never gives up. Whenever he sets his eyes on something, he will carry it out until the end. Which is why whenever he tries to be nice and Yoshi always thinks he's tricking her, never allowing him to be sincere even when he's trying his best, even then he doesn't give up and shows her kindness when he's not worrying or annoying her.
He may be care-free and open around Yoshi but around others he is a cold ice prince that rarely laughs or smiles. Around school he has many girls flocking him and known for his brilliant but dark paintings. He ignores them and would much rather just spend lunches alone with Yoshi while teasing her even though she would rather him running off with his fangirls and leaving her alone. Of course she got her wish when she dropped out. After she left, he got colder towards people, giving off the "I hate people" vibe, even so his fangirls never noticed his change and continued annoying him.
Yoshi and Dae Hyeon met the very first day she moved to Korea. Her parents had gotten her aunt to rent her an apartment near the school since she didn't want to stay in the dorms. In his eyes she was just his cute new neighbor that he got to tease daily, but in her eyes he was a devil. A cold hearted, evil, mean, attractive, Korean devil. Since her arrival he would always and she thought that he was always looking down on her just because she was Japanese. He has had his nice times when he was being truly sincere, but she has always thought that it was an act just so he could for being too naive later. He is by far, her least favorite person in South Korea and she always dreads the thought of going home to him sitting on HER couch in HER apartment. How does he get in if all her doors are locked? Easy, he gets the key from the landlady, which also happens to be his loving aunt that spoils him too much. At the end of the day, she always ends up cooking dinner for the both of them, which more than often is just ramen, with her eating in her room while him in the living room watching TV. She has refused many times, but he blackmails her by threatening to change the lock on the door of her room since her room is something she finds very sacred and would never let just anybody, mostly not Dae Hyeon, in.
Dae Hyeon is always teasing Yoshi. She hates him for it but in his eyes she's a constant target due to her reactions. He often jokes around with her; his most common one is just by calling her "Japanese" instead of her real name. He gets her mad and she calls him names and after throwing him out of her apartment, which just leads to him coming back a couple hours or the next day. Over the months it's just been that constant schedule. Not only does Yoshi have to suffer from his constant bugging and teasing at home, but sadly she had to deal with him at school too. He may be majoring in a different subject, but that doesn't mean that she's spared from his annoying face during lunch and breaks. After she left University, he would still , but just at home. One of his most common ways of getting her annoyed was teling her that she needs to improve on her Korean, saying a 1st grader could beat her at spelling. Although he may tease and annoy her, Dae Hyeon can be sweet and help her at times but most of the time she refuses to let him help because she doesn't feel like he's being sincere. She only feels like he's being nice just so he can about it later. Even if they won't admit it, they are both really happy being in each others lives because they know that without each other, both their lives would be extremely boring. Even after she became a trainee, he would still annoy her. He too became a trainee at SM, turns out he wasn't bad at rapping and dancing. He saw it as a way of "taking care of her" since her aunt asked him to. At practice he became friends with her group of friends and decided to continue picking on her. Her friends call it innocent teasing but Yoshi just thinks he's plain annoying.
SUGGESTIONS: Mmmm nothing really. Though I would prefer it not to be 100% like SNSD, maybe change up their style a couple of times.
